Numbers 18:2-7

2And thy brethrenH251 also of the tribeH4294 of LeviH3878, the tribeH7626 of thy fatherH1, bringH7126 thou with thee, that they may be joinedH3867 to thee, and ministerH8334 to thee: but thou and thy sonsH1121 with thee shall minister beforeH6440 the tabernacleH168 of witnessH5715. 3And they shall keepH8104 thy chargeH4931, and the chargeH4931 of all the tabernacleH168: only they shall not come nearH7126 the vesselsH3627 of the sanctuaryH6944 and the altarH4196, that neither they, nor ye also, dieH4191. 4And they shall be joinedH3867 to thee, and keepH8104 the chargeH4931 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, for all the serviceH5656 of the tabernacleH168: and a strangerH2114 shall not come nearH7126 to you. 5And ye shall keepH8104 the chargeH4931 of the sanctuaryH6944, and the chargeH4931 of the altarH4196: that there be no wrathH7110 any more upon the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478. 6And I, behold, I have takenH3947 your brethrenH251 the LevitesH3881 from amongH8432 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478: to you they are givenH5414 as a giftH4979 for the LORDH3068, to doH5647 the serviceH5656 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150. 7Therefore thou and thy sonsH1121 with thee shall keepH8104 your priest’s officeH3550 for every thingH1697 of the altarH4196, and withinH1004 the veilH6532; and ye shall serveH5647: I have givenH5414 your priest’s officeH3550 to you as a serviceH5656 of giftH4979: and the strangerH2114 that cometh nearH7131 shall be put to deathH4191.
