Kings 4:23-42

And he saidH559, WhyH4069 wilt thou goH1980 to him to-day? It is neither newH2320 moonH2320 nor sabbathH7676. And she saidH559, [It is] well.

Then she saddledH2280 the ass, and saidH559 to her servantH5288, Drive and go forward; slack not the ridingH7392 for me, except I bid thee.

And she wentH935 and cameH935 to the manH376 of 1GodH430, to mount CarmelH3760. And it cameH935 to pass when the manH376 of 2GodH430 sawH7200 her afar off, that he saidH559 to GehaziH1522 his servantH5288, Behold, there is the ShunammiteH7767:

runH7323 nowH6258, I pray thee, to meet her, and sayH559 unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husbandH376? is it well with the childH3206? And she saidH559, It is well.

And she cameH935 to the manH376 of 3GodH430 to the mountainH2022, and caught him by the feetH7272; and GehaziH1522 drewH5066 near to thrust her away; but the manH376 of 4GodH430 saidH559, Let her alone, for her soulH5315 is troubled within her, and Jehovah has hiddenH5956 it from me, and has not toldH5046 me.

And she saidH559, Did I desire a sonH1121 of my lordH113? did I not sayH559, Do not deceive me?

And he saidH559 to GehaziH1522, GirdH2296 up thy loinsH4975, and takeH3947 my staffH4938 in thy handH3027, and go thy way. If thou meet any manH376, salute him not, and if any salute thee, answerH6030 him not again; and lay my staffH4938 upon the faceH6440 of the ladH5288.

And the motherH517 of the ladH5288 saidH559, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soulH5315 liveth, I will not leaveH5800 thee! And he roseH6965 up and followed her.

And GehaziH1522 passedH5674 on before them, and laid the staffH4938 upon the faceH6440 of the ladH5288; but there was neither voiceH6963, nor sign of attention. And he returnedH7725 to meet him, and toldH5046 him sayingH559, The ladH5288 is not awaked.

And when ElishaH477 cameH935 into the houseH1004, behold, the child was deadH4191, [and] laidH7901 upon his bedH4296.

And he wentH935 in and shutH5462 the doorH1817 upon them both, and prayedH6419 to Jehovah.

And he wentH5927 up, and layH7901 upon the childH3206, and putH7760 his mouthH6310 upon his mouthH6310, and his eyesH5869 upon his eyesH5869, and his handsH3709 upon his handsH3709, and bent over him; and the fleshH1320 of the childH3206 grew warmH2552.

And he returnedH7725, and walked in the houseH1004 to and fro; and wentH5927 up, and bent over him. And the ladH5288 sneezed sevenH7651 timesH6471, and the ladH5288 openedH6491 his eyesH5869.

And he calledH7121 GehaziH1522, and saidH559, CallH7121 this ShunammiteH7767. And he calledH7121 her; and she cameH935 to him. And he saidH559, TakeH5375 up thy sonH1121.

And she cameH935 and fellH5307 at his feetH7272, and bowedH7812 herself to the groundH776; and she tookH5375 up her sonH1121, and wentH3318 out.

And ElishaH477 came again to GilgalH1537. And there was a famineH7458 in the landH776; and the sonsH1121 of the prophetsH5030 were sittingH3427 before him. And he saidH559 to his servantH5288, Set on the greatH1419 potH5518, and boilH1310 pottage for the sonsH1121 of the prophetsH5030.

Then oneH259 wentH3318 out into the fieldH7704 to gatherH3950 herbs, and foundH4672 a wild vineH1612, and gatheredH3950 from it his lap full of wild colocynths, and cameH935 and shred them into the potH5518 of pottage; for they did not knowH3045 them.

And they pouredH3332 out for the menH376 to eatH398. And it came to pass, as they wereH1961 eatingH398 of the pottage, that they criedH6817 out and saidH559, ManH376 of 5GodH430, there is deathH4194 in the potH5518! And they could not eatH398 [it].

And he saidH559, Then bring meal. And he castH7993 [it] into the potH5518, and saidH559, PourH3332 out for the peopleH5971, that they may eatH398. And there wasH1961 no harmH7451 in the potH5518.

And there cameH935 a manH376 from Baal-shalishah, and broughtH935 the manH376 of 6GodH430 breadH3899 of the first-fruits, twentyH6242 loaves of barleyH8184, and fresh ears of corn in his sack. And he saidH559, GiveH5414 to the peopleH5971 that they may eatH398.
