Kings 19:14-28
And HezekiahH2396 receivedH3947 the letterH5612 from the handH3027 of the messengersH4397, and readH7121 it; and HezekiahH2396 wentH5927 up into the houseH1004 of Jehovah, and spreadH6566 it before Jehovah.
And HezekiahH2396 prayedH6419 before Jehovah and saidH559, Jehovah, 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478, who sittest [between] the cherubimH3742, thou, the Same, thou aloneH905 art the 2GodH430 of all the kingdomsH4467 of the earthH776: thou hast madeH6213 the heavensH8064 and the earthH776.
InclineH5186 thine earH241, Jehovah, and hearH8085; openH6491, Jehovah, thine eyesH5869, and seeH7200; and hearH8085 the wordsH1697 of SennacheribH5576, who hath sentH7971 him to reproachH2778 the living 3GodH430.
Of a truth, Jehovah, the kingsH4428 of AssyriaH804 have laid waste the nationsH1471 and their landsH776,
and have cast their 4godsH430 into the fireH784; for they were no 5godsH430, but the workH4639 of men's handsH3027, woodH6086 and stoneH68; therefore have they destroyedH6 them.
And nowH6258, Jehovah our 6GodH430, I beseech thee, saveH3467 us out of his handH3027, that all the kingdomsH4467 of the earthH776 may knowH3045 that thou, Jehovah, art 7GodH430, thou onlyH905.
And IsaiahH3470 the sonH1121 of AmozH531 sentH7971 to HezekiahH2396, sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah the 8GodH430 of IsraelH3478: That which thou hast prayedH6419 to me concerningH413 SennacheribH5576 kingH4428 of AssyriaH804 I have heardH8085.
This is the wordH1697 that Jehovah has spokenH1696 against him: The virgin-daughter of ZionH6726 despiseth thee, laugheth thee to scorn; The daughterH1323 of JerusalemH3389 shaketh her headH7218 at thee.
Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exaltedH7311 the voiceH6963? Against the HolyH6918 oneH6918 of IsraelH3478 hast thou liftedH5375 up thine eyesH5869 on highH4791.
By thy messengersH4397 thou hast reproached the LordH136, and hast saidH559, With the multitude of my chariotsH7393 have I comeH935 up To the heightH6967 of the mountainH2022, to the recesses of LebanonH3844, And I will cutH3772 down its tall cedarsH730, the choice of its cypressesH1265; And I will enter into its furthest lodging-place, [into] the forestH3293 of its fruitful field.
I have digged, and have drunkH8354 strangeH2114 watersH4325, And with the soleH3709 of my feet have I dried up all the streams of Matsor.
Hast thou not heardH8085 long ago that I have done it? And that from ancient daysH3117 I formedH3335 it? NowH6258 have I broughtH935 it to pass, that thou shouldest lay waste fortifiedH1219 citiesH5892 [into] ruinous heapsH1530.
And their inhabitantsH3427 wereH1961 powerless, They wereH1961 dismayedH2865 and putH954 to shameH954; They wereH1961 [as] the growing grassH2682, and [as] the green herb, [As] the grassH2682 on the housetops, and grainH7054 blighted before it beH1961 grown up.
But I knowH3045 thine abode, and thy goingH3318 out, and thy comingH935 in, And thy ragingH7264 against me.
Because thy ragingH7264 against me and thine arroganceH7600 is comeH935 up into mine earsH241, I will putH7760 my ring in thy noseH639, and my bridleH4964 in thy lipsH8193, And I will makeH7760 thee goH935 backH7725 by the wayH1870 by which thou camest.
