1 Samuel 9:15-27

15Now Jehovah had apprised SamuelH8050 oneH259 dayH3117 before SaulH7586 cameH935, sayingH559, 16To-morrow about this timeH6256 I will sendH7971 thee a manH376 out of the landH776 of BenjaminH1144, and thou shalt anointH4886 him princeH5057 over my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478; and he will saveH3467 my peopleH5971 out of the handH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430; for I have lookedH7200 upon my peopleH5971, because their cryH6818 is comeH935 unto me. 17And as SamuelH8050 sawH7200 SaulH7586, Jehovah answered him, Behold the manH376 of whom I spoke to thee! this manH376 shall rule over my peopleH5971. 18And SaulH7586 drewH5066 near to SamuelH8050 in the midstH8432 of the gateH8179, and saidH559, TellH5046 me, I pray thee, whereH335 the seer's houseH1004 is. 19And SamuelH8050 answered SaulH7586 and saidH559, I am the seer: goH5927 up before me to the highH1116 placeH1116, and ye shall eatH398 with me to-day; and to-morrow I will let thee goH5927, and will tellH5046 thee all that is in thy heartH3824. 20And as for the asses that thou didst lose threeH7969 daysH3117 ago, setH7760 not thy heartH3820 on them; for they are foundH4672. And on whom is all the desireH2532 of IsraelH3478 [setH7760]? Is it not on thee, and on all thy father's houseH1004? 21And SaulH7586 answered and saidH559, Am not I a Benjaminite, of the smallest of the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478, and my familyH4940 the least of all the familiesH4940 of the tribeH7626 of BenjaminH1144? and whyH4100 dost thou speakH1696 such wordsH1697 to me? 22And SamuelH8050 tookH3947 SaulH7586 and his servantH5288, and broughtH935 them into the chamber, and gaveH5414 them a placeH4725 at the headH7218 of them that were invited; and they were about thirtyH7970 personsH376. 23And SamuelH8050 saidH559 to the cookH2876, Bring the portionH4490 that I gaveH5414 thee, of which I saidH559 to thee, SetH7760 it by thee. 24And the cookH2876 took up the shoulder, and what was on it, and setH7760 [it] before SaulH7586. And he saidH559, Behold that which has been reserved! setH7760 it before thee, eatH398; for against the setH7760 time has it been keptH8104 for thee, since I saidH559, I will invite the peopleH5971. So SaulH7586 ateH398 with SamuelH8050 that dayH3117. 25And they cameH3381 downH3381 from the highH1116 placeH1116 into the cityH5892, and he spokeH1696 with SaulH7586 upon the roofH1406. 26And they aroseH6965 earlyH7925; and when it wasH1961 about the dawningH7837 of the day, SamuelH8050 calledH7121 to SaulH7586 on the roofH1406, sayingH559, AriseH6965, that I may sendH7971 thee awayH7971. And SaulH7586 aroseH6965, and they wentH3318 out both of them, he and SamuelH8050, into the streetH2351. 27As they were goingH3381 downH3381 to the endH7097 of the cityH5892, SamuelH8050 saidH559 to SaulH7586, Tell the servantH5288 to passH5674 on before us (and he passedH5674 on), but standH5975 thou stillH5975 now, that I may cause thee to hearH8085 the wordH1697 of 1GodH430.
