Samuel 7:7-12
And the PhilistinesH6430 heardH8085 that the children of IsraelH3478 were gatheredH6908 togetherH6908 at MizpahH4709; and the lords of the PhilistinesH6430 wentH5927 up against IsraelH3478; and the children of IsraelH3478 heardH8085 [it], and were afraidH3372 of the PhilistinesH6430.
And the children of IsraelH3478 saidH559 to SamuelH8050, Cease not to cryH2199 to Jehovah our 1GodH430 for us, that he will saveH3467 us out of the handH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430.
And SamuelH8050 tookH3947 a sucking-lamb, and offeredH5927 it as a wholeH3632 burnt-offering to Jehovah; and SamuelH8050 criedH2199 to Jehovah for IsraelH3478, and Jehovah answeredH6030 him.
And as SamuelH8050 wasH1961 offeringH5927 up the burnt-offering, the PhilistinesH6430 advanced to battleH4421 against IsraelH3478. And Jehovah thunderedH7481 with a greatH1419 thunderH6963 on that dayH3117 upon the PhilistinesH6430, and discomfited them; and they wereH1961 routedH2000 before IsraelH3478.
And the menH376 of IsraelH3478 wentH3318 out of MizpahH4709, and pursuedH7291 the PhilistinesH6430, and smote them, as far as below Beth-car.
And SamuelH8050 tookH3947 a stoneH68 and setH7760 it between MizpahH4709 and Shen, and calledH7121 the nameH8034 of it Eben-ezer, and saidH559, Hitherto Jehovah has helpedH5826 us.
