2And he saidH559 to him, 1God forbid; thou shalt not dieH4191: behold, my fatherH1 will do nothing either greatH1419 or smallH6996, and not apprise me; and whyH4069 should my fatherH1 hideH5641 this thingH1697 from me? it is not so.
3And DavidH1732 sworeH7650 againH5750 and againH5750, and saidH559, Thy fatherH1 certainly knowsH3045 that I have foundH4672 favour in thy sight: and he has thought, JonathanH3083 shall not knowH3045 this, lestH6435 he be grieved; but truly [as] Jehovah liveth, and [as] thy soulH5315 liveth, there is but a step between me and deathH4194.
