Samuel 15:4-9
And SaulH7586 summoned the peopleH5971, and numbered them in Telaim, twoH3967 hundredH3967 thousandH505 footmen, and tenH6235 thousandH505 menH376 of JudahH3063.
And SaulH7586 cameH935 to the cityH5892 of the Amalekites, and set an ambush in the valley.
And SaulH7586 saidH559 to the Kenites, GoH5927, departH5493, and goH5927 down from among the Amalekites, lestH6435 I destroy you with them; for ye shewed kindness to all the children of IsraelH3478 when they cameH5927 up out of EgyptH4714. And the Kenites departedH5493 from among the Amalekites.
And SaulH7586 smote AmalekH6002 from HavilahH2341 as thou comest to ShurH7793, which is opposite to EgyptH4714.
And he took AgagH90 the kingH4428 of AmalekH6002 aliveH2416, and utterly destroyed all the peopleH5971 with the edge of the swordH2719.
And SaulH7586 and the peopleH5971 sparedH2550 AgagH90, and the best of the sheepH6629 and oxenH1241, and beasts of the secondH4932 bearing, and the lambsH3733, and all that was goodH2896, and wouldH14 not devote them to destruction; but everythingH3605 that was mean and weak, that they destroyed utterly.
