1 Samuel 1:22-28
22But HannahH2584 did not goH935 up, for she saidH559 to her husbandH376, [I will wait] until the child is weanedH1580; then will I bringH935 him, that he may appearH7200 before Jehovah, and there abide for everH5769. 23And ElkanahH511 her husbandH376 saidH559 to her, Do what is goodH2896 in thy sight: abide until thou hast weanedH1580 him; onlyH389, may Jehovah fulfil his wordH1697. And the womanH802 abode, and gave her sonH1121 suckH3243 until she weanedH1580 him. 24And she took him up with her whenH834 she had weanedH1580 him, with threeH7969 bullocks, and oneH259 ephahH374 of flourH7058, and a flask of wineH3196, and broughtH935 him to the houseH1004 of Jehovah to ShilohH7887; and the boy was youngH5288. 25And they slaughteredH7819 the bullock, and broughtH935 the boy to EliH5941. 26And she saidH559, Oh my lord, [as] thy soulH5315 liveth, my lord, I am the womanH802 that stoodH5324 by thee hereH2088 to prayH6419 to Jehovah. 27For this boy I prayedH6419; and Jehovah has granted me my petitionH7596 which I askedH7592 of him. 28And alsoH1571 I have lent him to Jehovah: all the daysH3117 that he lives, he is lent to Jehovah. And he worshipped Jehovah there.
