Corinthians 8:4-8
— concerningG4012 then the eatingG1035 of things sacrificed to idolsG1497, we know that an idolG1497 [is] nothing in [the] worldG2889, and that there [is] no other 1GodG2316 save oneG1520.
For and if indeed there areG1510 [those] called 2godsG2316, whether in heavenG3772 or on earthG1093, (as there areG1510 3godsG2316 manyG4183, and lordsG2962 manyG4183,)
yet to us [there is] oneG1520 4GodG2316, the FatherG3962, of whom all thingsG3956, and we for him; and oneG1520 LordG2962, JesusG2424 ChristG5547, by whom [are] all thingsG3956, and we by him.
But knowledgeG1108 [isG1510] not in all: but some, with conscienceG4893 of the idolG1497, until nowG1161 eatG2068 as of a thing sacrificed to idolsG1497; and their conscienceG4893, beingG1510 weakG772, isG1510 defiled.
But meat does not commend us to 5GodG2316; neither if we should not eatG2068 do we come shortG5302; nor if we should eatG2068 have we an advantage.
