Luke 22:54-65

54ThenG1161 they seizedG4815 Jesus, led Him awayG71, andG2532 tookG1521 Him intoG1519 theG3588 houseG3614 of theG3588 high priestG749. AndG1161 PeterG4074 followedG190 at a distanceG3113.

55When those present had kindledG681 a fireG4442 inG1722 the middleG3319 of theG3588 courtyardG833 andG2532 sat down togetherG4776, PeterG4074 sat downG2521 amongG3319 themG846. 56AG5100 servant girlG3814 sawG3708 himG846 seatedG2521 inG4314 theG3588 firelightG5457 andG2532 looked intently atG816 himG846. “ThisG3778 man alsoG2532 wasG1510 withG4862 HimG846,” she saidG2036.

57ButG1161 Peter deniedG720 it. “WomanG1135, I do not knowG3756G1492 HimG846,” he saidG3004.

A short timeG1024 laterG3326, someone elseG2087 sawG3708 himG846 and saidG5346, “YouG4771 alsoG2532 areG1510 one ofG1537 themG846.”

ButG1161 PeterG4074 saidG5346, “ManG444, I amG1510 notG3756.”

AboutG5616 anG1520 hourG5610 laterG1339, anotherG5100G243 man insistedG1340, “CertainlyG1909G225 thisG3778 man wasG1510 withG3326 HimG846, forG1063 he too isG1510G2532 a GalileanG1057.”

60“ManG444, I do not knowG3756G1492 whatG3739 you are talking aboutG3004,” PeterG4074 repliedG2036.

AndG2532 immediatelyG3916, whileG2089 heG846 was still speakingG2980, the roosterG220 crowedG5455. 61AndG2532 theG3588 LordG2962 turnedG4762 and looked atG1689 PeterG4074.

ThenG2532 PeterG4074 rememberedG5279 theG3588 wordG3056 thatG5613 theG3588 LordG2962 had spokenG2036 to himG846: “BeforeG4250 the roosterG220 crowsG5455 todayG4594, you will denyG533 MeG1473 three timesG5151.” 62AndG2532 he wentG1831 outsideG1854 and weptG2799 bitterlyG4090.

TheG3588 menG435 whoG3588 were holdingG4912 Jesus began to mockG1702 HimG846 and beatG1194 Him. 64TheyG2532 blindfoldedG4028 HimG8461 and kept demandingG1905G3004, “ProphesyG4395! WhoG5101 hitG1510G3588G3817 YouG4771?” 65AndG2532 they saidG2036 many otherG4183 blasphemousG987 thingsG2087 againstG1519 HimG846.
