Jeremiah 45
1This is the wordH1697 thatH834 JeremiahH3414 the prophetH5030 spokeH1696 toH413 BaruchH1263 sonH1121 of NeriahH5374 when he wroteH3789 theseH428 wordsH1697 onH5921 a scrollH5612 at the dictationH6310 of JeremiahH3414 in the fourthH7243 yearH8141 of JehoiakimH3079 sonH1121 of JosiahH2977, kingH4428 of JudahH3063H559:
2“This is whatH3541 the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, saysH559 to youH5921, BaruchH1263: 3You have saidH559, ‘Woe isH188H4994 me becauseH3588 the LORDH3068 has addedH3254 sorrowH3015 toH5921 my painH4341! I am worn outH3021 with groaningH585 and have foundH4672 noH3808 restH4496.’”
4ThusH3541 Jeremiah was to sayH559 to BaruchH413:1 “This is whatH3541 the LORDH3068H2009 saysH559: ThroughoutH3605 the landH776H1931 IH589 will demolishH2040 whatH834 I have builtH1129 and uprootH5428 whatH834 I have plantedH5193. 5But as for youH859, do you seekH1245 great thingsH1419 for yourself? StopH408 seekingH1245! ForH3588H2005 I will bringH935 disasterH7451 onH5921 everyH3605 living creatureH1320, declaresH5002 the LORDH3068, but whereverH3605H4725 you goH1980, I will grantH5414 your lifeH5315 as a spoil of warH7998H5921H8033.”
