1So IsaacH3327H413 called forH7121 JacobH3290 and blessedH1288 himH853. “Do notH3808 takeH3947 a wifeH802 from the CanaaniteH3667 womenH1323,” he commandedH6680H559. 2“GoH1980 at onceH6965 to Paddan-aramH6307H758,1 to the houseH1004 of your mother’sH517 fatherH1 BethuelH1328, and takeH3947 a wifeH802 from among the daughtersH1323 of LabanH3837, your mother’sH517 brotherH251. 3May GodH410 AlmightyH77062 blessH1288 youH853 and make you fruitfulH6509 and multiply youH7235, so that you may becomeH1961 a companyH6951 of peoplesH5971. 4And may He giveH5414 the blessingH1293 of AbrahamH85 to you and your descendantsH2233H854, so that you may possessH3423 the landH776 where you dwell as a foreignerH4033, the landH834 GodH430 gaveH5414 to AbrahamH85.”

6Now EsauH6215 learnedH7200 thatH3588 IsaacH3327 had blessedH1288 JacobH3290 and sentH7971 himH853 to Paddan-aramH6307H758 to takeH3947 a wifeH802 thereH8033, commandingH1288H853H6680 himH5921H559, “Do notH3808 marryH3947H802 a CanaaniteH3667 womanH1323,” 7and that JacobH3290 had obeyedH8085H413 his fatherH1H413 and motherH517 and goneH1980 to Paddan-aramH6307H758.

8AndH6215 seeingH7200 thatH3588 his fatherH1 IsaacH3327 disapproved ofH7451H5869 the CanaaniteH3667 womenH1323, 9EsauH6215 wentH1980 toH413 IshmaelH3458 and marriedH3947 MahalathH4258, the sisterH269 of NebaiothH5032 and daughterH1323 of Abraham’sH85 sonH1121 IshmaelH3458, in addition toH5921 the wivesH802 he already had.
