Revelation 3
1And to the angelG32 of the churchG1577 in SardisG4554 writeG1125:
These things saith he that hath the sevenG2033 SpiritsG4151 of GodG2316, and the sevenG2033 starsG792: I know thy worksG2041, that thou hast a nameG3686 that thou livest, and thou art deadG3498. 2Be thou watchful, and establish the thingsG3739 that remain, which were ready to dieG599: for I have foundG2147 no worksG2041 of thine perfected before my GodG2316. 3RememberG3421 thereforeG3767 howG4459 thou hast receivedG2983 and didst hearG191; and keepG5083 it, and repentG3340. If thereforeG3767 thou shalt not watchG1127, I will comeG2240 as a thiefG2812, and thou shalt not knowG1097 what hourG5610 I will comeG2240 upon thee. 4But thou hast a fewG3641 namesG3686 in SardisG4554 that did not defile their garmentsG2440: and they shall walkG4043 with me in whiteG3022; for they areG1510 worthyG514. 5He that overcometh shall thusG3779 be arrayed in whiteG3022 garmentsG2440; and I will in no wise blot his nameG3686 out of the bookG976 of lifeG2222, and I will confessG3670 his nameG3686 before my FatherG3962, and before his angelsG32. 6He that hath an earG3775, let him hearG191 what the SpiritG4151 saith to the churchesG1577.
7And to the angelG32 of the churchG1577 in PhiladelphiaG5359 writeG1125:
These things saith he that is holyG40, he that is trueG228, he that hath the keyG2807 of DavidG1138, he that openeth and noneG3762 shall shutG2808, and that shutteth and noneG3762 openeth: 8I know thy worksG2041 (beholdG2400, I have set before thee a doorG2374 openedG455, which noneG3762 can shutG2808), that thou hast a littleG3398 powerG1411, and didst keepG5083 my wordG3056, and didst not denyG720 my nameG3686. 9BeholdG2400, I giveG1325 of the synagogueG4864 of SatanG4567, of them that sayG3004 they areG1510 JewsG2453, and they areG1510 not, but do lieG5574; beholdG2400, I will makeG4160 them to comeG2240 and worshipG4352 before thy feetG4228, and to knowG1097 that I have lovedG25 thee. 10Because thou didst keepG5083 the wordG3056 of my patience, I also will keepG5083 thee from the hourG5610 of trialG3986, that hourG5610 which is to comeG2064 upon the wholeG3650 worldG3625, to try them that dwellG2730 upon the earthG1093. 11I comeG2064 quicklyG5035: holdG2902 fastG2902 that which thou hast, that no oneG3367 takeG2983 thy crownG4735. 12He that overcometh, I will makeG4160 him a pillarG4769 in the templeG3485 of my GodG2316, and he shall goG1831 out thence no moreG2089: and I will writeG1125 upon him the nameG3686 of my GodG2316, and the nameG3686 of the cityG4172 of my GodG2316, the newG2537 JerusalemG2419, which cometh downG2597 out of heavenG3772 from my GodG2316, and mineG1473 own newG2537 nameG3686. 13He that hath an earG3775, let him hearG191 what the SpiritG4151 saith to the churchesG1577.
14And to the angelG32 of the churchG1577 in LaodiceaG2993 writeG1125:
These things saith the AmenG281, the faithfulG4103 and trueG228 witnessG3144, the beginning of the creationG2937 of GodG2316: 15I know thy worksG2041, that thou art neither coldG5593 nor hotG2200: I would thou wert coldG5593 or hotG2200. 16So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hotG2200 nor coldG5593, I will spew thee out of my mouthG4750. 17Because thou sayest, I amG1510 richG4145, and have gotten richesG4147, and have needG5532 of nothing; and knowest not that thou art the wretchedG5005 oneG3762 and miserable and poorG4434 and blindG5185 and nakedG1131: 18I counsel thee to buyG59 of me goldG5553 refined by fireG4442, that thou mayest become richG4147; and whiteG3022 garmentsG2440, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shameG152 of thy nakednessG1132 be not madeG5319 manifestG5319; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyesG3788, that thou mayest seeG991. 19As manyG3745 as I loveG5368, I reprove and chasten: be zealous thereforeG3767, and repentG3340. 20BeholdG2400, I standG2476 at the doorG2374 and knockG2925: if any man hearG191 my voiceG5456 and openG455 the doorG2374, I will comeG1525 in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21He that overcometh, I will giveG1325 to him to sitG2523 down with me in my throneG2362, as I alsoG2532 overcameG3528, and satG2523 downG2523 with my FatherG3962 in his throneG2362. 22He that hath an earG3775, let him hearG191 what the SpiritG4151 saith to the churchesG1577.
