Matthew 21:28-46
28But what thinkG1380 ye? A manG444 had twoG1417 sonsG5043; and he cameG4334 to the firstG4413, and saidG3004, SonG5043, goG5217 workG2038 to-day in the vineyardG290. 29And he answeredG611 and saidG3004, I willG2309 not: but afterward he repented himself, and wentG565. 30And he cameG4334 to the secondG1208, and saidG3004 likewiseG5615. And he answeredG611 and saidG3004, I goG565, sirG2962: and wentG565 not. 31Which of the twoG1417 did the will of his fatherG3962? They sayG3004, The firstG4413. JesusG2424 saith unto them, Verily I sayG3004 unto you, that the publicans and the harlots goG4254 into the kingdomG932 of GodG2316 before you. 32For JohnG2491 cameG2064 unto you in the wayG3598 of righteousnessG1343, and ye believedG4100 him not; but the publicans and the harlots believedG4100 him: and ye, when ye sawG3708 it, did not evenG2532 repent yourselves afterward, that ye might believeG4100 him.
33HearG191 another parableG3850: There wasG1510 a manG444 that wasG1510 a householder, who plantedG5452 a vineyardG290, and set a hedge about it, and digged a winepressG3025 in it, and builtG3618 a towerG4444, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country. 34And whenG3753 the seasonG2540 of the fruitsG2590 drew near, he sentG649 his servantsG1401 to the husbandmen, to receiveG2983 his fruitsG2590. 35And the husbandmen tookG2983 his servantsG1401, and beatG1194 oneG3739, and killedG615 another, and stoned another. 36AgainG3825, he sentG649 otherG243 servantsG1401 moreG4183 than the firstG4413: and they did unto them in like manner. 37But afterward he sentG649 unto them his sonG5207, sayingG3004, They will reverence my sonG5207. 38But the husbandmen, when they sawG3708 the sonG5207, saidG3004 among themselves, This isG1510 the heirG2818; comeG1205, let us killG615 him, and take his inheritanceG2817. 39And they tookG2983 him, and castG1544 him forth out of the vineyardG290, and killedG615 him. 40WhenG3752 thereforeG3767 the lordG2962 of the vineyardG290 shall comeG2064, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 41They sayG3004 unto him, He will miserably destroyG622 those miserable men, and will let out the vineyardG290 unto otherG243 husbandmen, who shall renderG591 him the fruitsG2590 in their seasonsG2540. 42JesusG2424 saith unto them, Did ye neverG3763 readG314 in the scripturesG1124,
43Therefore sayG3004 I unto you, The kingdomG932 of GodG2316 shall be takenG142 awayG142 from you, and shall be givenG1325 to a nationG1484 bringing forth the fruitsG2590 thereof. 44And he that falleth on this stoneG3037 shall be broken to pieces: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust. 45And when the chiefG749 priestsG749 and the PhariseesG5330 heardG191 his parablesG3850, they perceived that he spake of them. 46And when they soughtG2212 to lay holdG2902 on him, they fearedG5399 the multitudesG3793, because they tookG2902 him for a prophetG4396.
