Matthew 17:4-21
4And PeterG4074 answeredG611, and saidG3004 unto JesusG2424, LordG2962, it isG1510 goodG2570 for us to beG1510 hereG5602: if thou wilt, I will makeG4160 hereG5602 threeG5140 tabernaclesG4633; oneG1520 for thee, and oneG1520 for MosesG3475, and oneG1520 for ElijahG2243. 5While he wasG1510 yet speakingG2980, beholdG2400, a bright cloudG3507 overshadowedG1982 them: and beholdG2400, a voiceG5456 out of the cloudG3507, sayingG3004, This isG1510 my belovedG27 SonG5207, in whom I amG1510 well pleased; hearG191 ye him. 6And when the disciplesG3101 heardG191 it, they fellG4098 on their faceG4383, and were sore afraidG5399. 7And JesusG2424 cameG4334 and touchedG681 them and saidG3004, AriseG1453, and be not afraidG5399. 8And liftingG1869 up their eyesG3788, they sawG3708 no oneG3762, save JesusG2424 onlyG3440.
9And as they were comingG2597 downG2597 from the mountainG3735, JesusG2424 commandedG1781 them, sayingG3004, TellG3004 the visionG3705 to no manG444, until the SonG5207 of manG444 be risenG1453 from the deadG3498. 10And his disciplesG3101 askedG1905 him, sayingG3004, WhyG5101 then sayG3004 the scribesG1122 that ElijahG2243 must firstG4413 comeG2064? 11And he answeredG611 and saidG3004, ElijahG2243 indeed cometh, and shall restore all thingsG3956: 12but I sayG3004 unto you, that ElijahG2243 is comeG2064 alreadyG2235, and they knewG1921 him not, but did unto him whatsoever they would. EvenG2532 so shall the SonG5207 of manG444 alsoG2532 sufferG3958 of them. 13ThenG5119 understoodG4920 the disciplesG3101 that he spake unto them of JohnG2491 the BaptistG910.
14And when they were comeG2064 to the multitudeG3793, there cameG2064 to him a manG444, kneeling to him, and saying, 15LordG2962, have mercyG1653 on my sonG5207: for he is epileptic, and suffereth grievously; for oft-times he falleth into the fireG4442, and oft-times into the waterG5204. 16And I broughtG4374 him to thy disciplesG3101, and they could not cure him. 17And JesusG2424 answeredG611 and saidG3004, O faithless and perverse generationG1074, how long shall I beG1510 with you? how long shall I bearG5342 with you? bringG5342 him hither to me. 18And JesusG2424 rebukedG2008 him; and the demonG1140 wentG1831 out of him: and the boyG3816 was cured from that hourG5610.
19ThenG5119 cameG4334 the disciplesG3101 to JesusG2424 apart, and saidG3004, WhyG5101 could not we castG1544 it out? 20And he saith unto them, Because of your little faithG4102: for verily I sayG3004 unto you, If ye have faithG4102 as a grainG2848 of mustardG4615 seed, ye shall sayG3004 unto this mountainG3735, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossibleG101 unto you. 211
