John 7:7-20

7The worldG2889 cannot hateG3404 you; but me it hateth, because I testifyG3140 of it, that its worksG2041 areG1510 evilG4190. 8GoG305 ye up unto the feastG1859: I goG305 not up unto this feastG1859; because my timeG2540 is not yetG3768 fulfilled. 9And having saidG3004 these thingsG3778 unto them, he abode still in GalileeG1056.

10But whenG5613 his brethren were goneG305 up unto the feastG1859, then wentG305 he alsoG2532 up, not publicly, but as it were in secretG2927. 11The JewsG2453 thereforeG3767 soughtG2212 him at the feastG1859, and saidG3004, WhereG4226 isG1510 he? 12And there wasG1510 muchG4183 murmuring among the multitudesG3793 concerningG4012 him: some saidG3004, He isG1510 a goodG18 man; othersG243 saidG3004, Not so, but he leadeth the multitudeG3793 astrayG4105. 13Yet no man spake openlyG3954 of him for fearG5401 of the JewsG2453.

14But when it was nowG1161 the midst of the feastG1859 JesusG2424 wentG305 up into the templeG2411, and taughtG1321. 15The JewsG2453 thereforeG3767 marvelled, sayingG3004, HowG4459 knoweth this manG3778 lettersG1121, having neverG3361 learnedG3129? 16JesusG2424 thereforeG3767 answeredG611 them, and saidG3004, My teachingG1322 isG1510 not mine, but his that sentG3992 me. 17If any man willeth to do his will, he shall knowG1097 of the teachingG1322, whether it isG1510 of GodG2316, or whether I speakG2980 from myself. 18He that speaketh from himself seeketh his ownG2398 gloryG1391: but he that seeketh the gloryG1391 of him that sentG3992 him, the sameG846 isG1510 trueG227, and no unrighteousnessG93 isG1510 in him. 19Did not MosesG3475 giveG1325 you the lawG3551, and yet noneG3762 of you doeth the lawG3551? WhyG5101 seekG2212 ye to killG615 me? 20The multitudeG3793 answeredG611, Thou hast a demonG1140: who seeketh to killG615 thee?
