John 4:9-27

9The SamaritanG4542 womanG1135 thereforeG3767 saith unto him, HowG4459 isG1510 it that thou, beingG1510 a JewG2453, askest drinkG4095 of me, who amG1510 a SamaritanG4542 womanG1135? JesusG2424 saith unto her, Thou saidst wellG2573, I have no husbandG435: 18for thou hast had fiveG4002 husbandsG435; and he whom thou nowG3568 hast isG1510 not thy husbandG435: this hast thou saidG3004 truly. 19The womanG1135 saith unto him, SirG2962, I perceive that thou art a prophetG4396. 20Our fathersG3962 worshipped in this mountainG3735; and ye sayG3004, that in JerusalemG2414 isG1510 the placeG5117 whereG3699 menG3778 oughtG1163 to worshipG4352. 21JesusG2424 saith unto her, WomanG1135, believeG4100 me, the hourG5610 cometh, whenG3753 neither in this mountainG3735, nor in JerusalemG2414, shall ye worshipG4352 the FatherG3962. 22Ye worshipG4352 that which ye know not: we worshipG4352 that which we know; for salvationG4991 isG1510 from the JewsG2453. 23But the hourG5610 cometh, and nowG3568 isG1510, whenG3753 the trueG228 worshippers shall worshipG4352 the FatherG3962 in spiritG4151 and truthG225: for suchG5108 doth the FatherG3962 seekG2212 to beG1510 his worshippers. 24GodG2316 is a SpiritG4151: and they that worshipG4352 him must worshipG4352 in spiritG4151 and truthG225. 25The womanG1135 saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh (he that is called ChristG5547): whenG3752 he is comeG2064, he will declareG312 unto us all things. 26JesusG2424 saith unto her, I that speakG2980 unto thee amG1510 he.

27And upon this cameG2064 his disciplesG3101; and they marvelled that he was speakingG2980 with a womanG1135; yet no manG3778 saidG3004, What seekest thou? or, WhyG5101 speakest thou with her?
