John 3:22-36

22After these thingsG3778 cameG2064 JesusG2424 and his disciplesG3101 into the landG1093 of Judæa; and there he tarried with them, and baptizedG907. 23And JohnG2491 alsoG2532 wasG1510 baptizingG907 in Ænon near to Salim, because there wasG1510 muchG4183 waterG5204 there: and they cameG3854, and wereG1510 baptizedG907. 24For JohnG2491 wasG1510 not yetG3768 castG906 into prisonG5438. 25There aroseG1096 thereforeG3767 a questioning on the part of John’s disciplesG3101 with a JewG2453 about purifying. 26And they cameG2064 unto JohnG2491, and saidG3004 to him, RabbiG4461, he that wasG1510 with thee beyond the JordanG2446, to whom thou hast borne witnessG3140, beholdG2396, the sameG846 baptizeth, and all men comeG2064 to him. 27JohnG2491 answeredG611 and saidG3004, A manG444 can receiveG2983 nothing, except it have beenG1510 givenG1325 him from heavenG3772. 28Ye yourselves bearG3140 me witnessG3140, that I saidG3004, I amG1510 not the ChristG5547, but, that I amG1510 sentG649 before him. 29He that hath the brideG3565 isG1510 the bridegroomG3566: but the friendG5384 of the bridegroomG3566, that standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’sG3566 voiceG5456: this my joyG5479 thereforeG3767 isG1510 made fullG4137. 30He must increaseG837, but I must decrease.

31He that cometh from above isG1510 above all: he that isG1510 of the earthG1093 isG1510 of the earthG1093, and of the earthG1093 he speaketh: he that cometh from heavenG3772 isG1510 above all. 32What he hath seenG3708 and heardG191, of that he beareth witnessG3140; and no man receiveth his witnessG3140. 33He that hath receivedG2983 his witnessG3141 hath set his sealG4972 to this, that GodG2316 isG1510 trueG227. 34For he whom GodG2316 hath sentG649 speaketh the words of GodG2316: for he giveth not the SpiritG4151 by measureG3358. 35The FatherG3962 loveth the SonG5207, and hath givenG1325 all thingsG3956 into his handG5495. 36He that believeth on the SonG5207 hath eternalG166 lifeG2222; but he that obeyeth not the SonG5207 shall not seeG3708 lifeG2222, but the wrathG3709 of GodG2316 abideth on him.
