John 10:13-30
13he fleeth because he isG1510 a hireling, and careth not for the sheepG4263. 14I amG1510 the goodG2570 shepherdG4166; and I knowG1097 mine own, and mine own knowG1097 me, 15evenG2532 as the FatherG3962 knoweth me, and I knowG1097 the FatherG3962; and I lay downG5087 my lifeG5590 for the sheepG4263. 16And otherG243 sheepG4263 I have, which areG1510 not of this foldG833: them alsoG2532 I must bringG71, and they shall hearG191 my voiceG5456; and they shall becomeG1096 oneG1520 flockG4167, oneG1520 shepherdG4166. 17Therefore doth the FatherG3962 loveG25 me, because I lay downG5087 my lifeG5590, that I may takeG2983 it againG3825. 18No oneG3762 taketh it awayG142 from me, but I lay it downG5087 of myself. I have powerG1849 to lay it downG5087, and I have powerG1849 to takeG142 it againG3825. This commandmentG1785 receivedG2983 I from my FatherG3962.
19There aroseG1096 a divisionG4978 againG3825 among the JewsG2453 because of these wordsG3056. 20And manyG4183 of them saidG3004, He hath a demonG1140, and is mad; whyG5101 hearG191 ye him? 21OthersG243 saidG3004, These areG1510 not the sayings of oneG3778 possessed with a demonG1140. Can a demonG1140 openG455 the eyesG3788 of the blindG5185?
22And it wasG1510 the feast of the dedication at JerusalemG2414: 23it was winter; and JesusG2424 was walkingG4043 in the temple in Solomon’s porch. 24The JewsG2453 thereforeG3767 came round about him, and saidG3004 unto him, How long dost thou hold us in suspense? If thou art the ChristG5547, tellG3004 us plainlyG3954. 25JesusG2424 answeredG611 them, I toldG3004 you, and ye believeG4100 not: the worksG2041 that I do in my Father’s nameG3686, these bear witnessG3140 of me. 26But ye believeG4100 not, because ye areG1510 not of my sheepG4263. 27My sheepG4263 hearG191 my voiceG5456, and I knowG1097 them, and they followG190 me: 28and I giveG1325 unto them eternalG166 lifeG2222; and they shall never perishG622, and no oneG5100 shall snatchG726 them out of my handG5495. 29My FatherG3962, who hath givenG1325 them unto me, isG1510 greaterG3173 than all; and no oneG3762 isG1510 ableG1410 to snatchG726 them out of the Father’s handG5495. 30I and the FatherG3962 areG1510 oneG1520.
