Genesis 4:9-14
9And Jehovah saidH559 unto CainH7014, WhereH335 is AbelH1893 thy brotherH251? And he saidH559, I knowH3045 not: am I my brother’sH251 keeperH8104? 10And he saidH559, What hast thou done? the voiceH6963 of thy brother’sH251 bloodH1818 crieth unto me from the groundH127. 11And nowH6258 cursedH779 art thou from the groundH127, which hath openedH6475 its mouthH6310 to receiveH3947 thy brother’sH251 bloodH1818 from thy handH3027; 12when thou tillest the groundH776, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee its strengthH3581; a fugitive and a wanderer shalt thou beH1961 in the earthH776. 13And CainH7014 saidH559 unto Jehovah, My punishmentH5771 is greaterH1419 than I can bearH5375. 14Behold, thou hast drivenH1644 me out this dayH3117 from the faceH6440 of the groundH776; and from thy faceH6440 shall I beH1961 hidH5641; and I shall beH1961 a fugitive and a wanderer in the earthH776; and it will come to pass, that whosoever findeth me will slayH2026 me.
