Genesis 2:7-18
7And Jehovah GodH430 formedH3335 manH120 of the dustH6083 of the groundH127, and breathed into his nostrilsH639 the breathH5397 of lifeH5315; and manH120 becameH1961 a living soulH5315. 8And Jehovah GodH430 plantedH5193 a gardenH1588 eastward, in EdenH5731; and there he putH7760 the manH120 whom he had formedH3335. 9And out of the groundH127 made Jehovah GodH430 to growH6779 every treeH6086 that is pleasant to the sightH4758, and goodH2896 for foodH3978; the treeH6086 of lifeH2416 also in the midstH8432 of the gardenH1588, and the treeH6086 of the knowledgeH1847 of goodH2896 and evilH7451. 10And a riverH5104 wentH3318 out of EdenH5731 to waterH8248 the gardenH1588; and from thence it wasH1961 parted, and becameH1961 fourH702 headsH7218. 11The nameH8034 of the first is Pishon: that is it which compasseth the whole landH776 of HavilahH2341, whereH834 there is goldH2091; 12and the goldH2091 of that landH776 is goodH2896: there is bdelliumH916 and the onyxH7718 stoneH68. 13And the nameH8034 of the secondH8145 riverH5104 is GihonH1521: the same is it that compasseth the whole landH776 of CushH3568. 14And the nameH8034 of the thirdH7992 riverH5104 is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth in front of AssyriaH804. And the fourthH7243 riverH5104 is the EuphratesH6578. 15And Jehovah GodH430 tookH3947 the manH120, and put him into the gardenH1588 of EdenH5731 to dress it and to keepH8104 it. 16And Jehovah GodH430 commandedH6680 the manH120, sayingH559, Of every treeH6086 of the gardenH1588 thou mayest freely eatH398: 17but of the treeH6086 of the knowledgeH1847 of goodH2896 and evilH7451, thou shalt not eatH398 of it: for in the dayH3117 that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely dieH4191.
18And Jehovah GodH430 saidH559, It is not goodH2896 that the manH120 should beH1961 aloneH905; I will makeH6213 him a helpH5828 meet for him.
