Deuteronomy 1:42-44
42And Jehovah saidH559 unto me, SayH559 unto them, GoH5927 not up, neither fightH3898; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemiesH341. 43So I spake unto you, and ye hearkened not; but ye rebelledH4784 against the commandment of Jehovah, and were presumptuous, and wentH5927 up into the hill-country. 44And the AmoritesH567, that dweltH3427 in that hill-country, cameH3318 out against you, and chased you, as beesH1682 do, and beatH3807 you downH3427 in SeirH8165, even unto HormahH2767.
