Deuteronomy 1:42-44
421But the LordH3068 saidH559 to me, ‘SayH559 to them, “Do not goH5927 upH5927 norH3808 fightH3898, for I am not amongH7130 you; otherwiseH3808 you will be 2defeatedH5062 3by your enemiesH340.”’
43So I spokeH1696 to you, but you would not listenH8085. Instead, 4you rebelledH4784 againstH854 the 5commandH6310 of the LordH3068, and actedH2102 presumptuouslyH2102 and wentH5927 upH5927 into the hillH2022 countryH2022.
446And the AmoritesH567 who livedH3427 in that hillH2022 countryH2022 cameH3318 outH3318 againstH7122 you and chasedH7291 you 7as beesH1682 doH6213, and they scatteredH3807 you from SeirH8165 to HormahH2767.
