2 Corinthians 7:4-16

4My 1confidenceG3954 2in you is greatG4183; my 3boastingG2746 inG5228 your behalfG5228 is greatG4183. I am filledG4137 with 4comfortG3874; I amG5248 overflowingG5248 with 5joyG5479 in allG3956 our afflictionG2347.

5For evenG2532 when we cameG2064 into 6MacedoniaG3109 our fleshG4561 hadG2192 noG3762 restG425, but we were 7afflictedG2346 on everyG3956 side: 8conflictsG3163 on the outsideG1855, fearsG5401 insideG2081. 6But 9GodG2316, who comfortsG3870 the 10discouragedG5011, 11comfortedG3870 us by the arrivalG3952 of 12TitusG5103; 7and not onlyG3440 by his arrivalG3952, but alsoG2532 by the comfortG3874 with whichG3739 he was comfortedG3870 amongG1909 you, as he reportedG312 to us your longingG1972, your mourningG3602, your zealG2205 for me; soG5620 thatG5620 I rejoicedG5463 even moreG3123. 8For thoughG1487G2532 I 13causedG3076 you sorrowG3076 by my letterG1992, I do not regretG3338 it; thoughG1487G2532 I did regretG3338 it--for I seeG991 that that letterG1992 causedG3076 you sorrowG3076, thoughG1487G2532 onlyG2532 for a whileG5610-- 9I nowG3568 rejoiceG5463, not that you were madeG3076 sorrowfulG3076, but that you were madeG3076 sorrowfulG3076 to the point of repentanceG3341; for you were madeG3076 sorrowfulG3076 accordingG2596 to the will of GodG2316, soG2443 thatG2443 you might not sufferG2210 lossG2210 in anythingG3367 14throughG1537 us. 10For the sorrowG3077 that is accordingG2596 to the will of GodG2316 producesG2038 a 15repentanceG3341 16withoutG278 regretG278, leading to salvationG4991, but the sorrowG3077 of the worldG2889 producesG2716 deathG2288. 11For beholdG2400 whatG4214 earnestnessG4710 thisG3778 veryG846 thingG846, thisG3588 17godlyG2596G2316 sorrowG3076, has producedG2716 in you: whatG235 vindicationG627 of yourselves, whatG235 indignationG24, whatG235 fearG5401, whatG235 18longingG1972, whatG235 zealG2205, whatG235 19punishmentG1557 ofG1557 wrongG1557! In everythingG3956 you 20demonstratedG4921 yourselvesG1438 to be innocentG53 in the matterG4229. 12SoG686 althoughG1487G2532 21I wroteG1125 to you, it was not for the sakeG1752 of 22the offenderG91 norG3761 for the sakeG1752 of the one offendedG91, but that your earnestnessG4710 inG5228 our behalfG5228 might be madeG5319 knownG5319 to you inG1799 theG1799 sightG1799 ofG1799 GodG2316. 13BecauseG1223 of thisG3778, we have been 23comfortedG3870.

And besidesG1909 our comfortG3874, we rejoicedG5463 evenG4056 muchG3123 moreG4056 for the joyG5479 of 24TitusG5103, becauseG3754 his 25spiritG4151 has been refreshedG373 by you allG3956. 14For if I have 26boastedG2744 to him aboutG5228 you regarding anythingG5100, I was not putG2617 toG2617 shameG2617. But as we spokeG2980 allG3956 thingsG3956 to you in truthG225, soG3779 alsoG2532 our boastingG2746 beforeG1909 27TitusG5103 provedG1096 to be the truthG225. 15His 28affectionG4698 aboundsG1510G4056 allG4056 theG4056 moreG4056 towardG1519 you, as he remembersG363 the 29obedienceG5218 of you allG3956, howG5613 you receivedG1209 him with 30fearG5401 and tremblingG5156. 16I rejoiceG5463 that in everythingG3956 31I haveG2292 confidenceG2292 in you.
