1 Corinthians 3:10-23

10AccordingG2596 to 1the graceG5485 of GodG2316 which was givenG1325 to me, likeG5613 a wiseG4680 masterG753 builderG753 2I laidG5087 a foundationG2310, and 3anotherG243 is buildingG2026 onG2026 it. But eachG1538 personG1538 must be carefulG991 howG4459 he buildsG2026 onG2026 it. 11For noG3762 oneG3762 canG1410 layG5087 a 4foundationG2310 otherG243 thanG3844 the one which is laidG2749, whichG3739 is JesusG2424 ChristG5547. 12NowG1161 ifG1487 anyoneG5100 buildsG2026 on the foundationG2310 with goldG5553, silverG694, preciousG5093 stonesG3037, woodG3586, hayG5528, or strawG2562, 13 5eachG1538 one’sG1538 workG2041 will becomeG1096 evidentG5318; for 6the dayG2250 will showG1213 it becauseG3754 it is to be revealedG601 with fireG4442, and the fireG4442 itselfG846 will testG1381 7the qualityG3697 of eachG1538 one’sG1538 workG2041. 14IfG1487 anyone’sG5100 workG2041 whichG3739 he has builtG2026 onG2026 it remainsG3306, he will 8receiveG2983 a rewardG3408. 15IfG1487 anyone’sG5100 workG2041 is burnedG2618 upG2618, he will sufferG2210 lossG2210; but he himselfG846 will be savedG4982, yetG1161 only 9soG3779 as throughG1223 fireG4442.

16 10Do you not knowG3609 that 11you are a 12templeG3485 of GodG2316 and that the SpiritG4151 of GodG2316 dwellsG3611 in you? 17IfG1487 anyoneG5100 destroysG5351 the 13templeG3485 of GodG2316, GodG2316 will destroyG5351 14thatG3778 personG3778; for the 15templeG3485 of GodG2316 is holyG40, 16and that is whatG3748 you are.

18 17Take care that noG3367 oneG3367 deceivesG1818 himselfG1438. 18IfG1487 anyoneG5100 amongG1722 you thinksG1380 that he is wiseG4680 in 19thisG3778 ageG165, he must becomeG1096 foolishG3474, soG2443 thatG2443 he may becomeG1096 wiseG4680. 19For 20the wisdomG4678 of thisG3778 worldG2889 is foolishnessG3472 inG3844 theG3844 sightG3844 ofG3844 GodG2316. For it is writtenG1125: “He is 21the one who catchesG1405 the wiseG4680 by their craftinessG3834”; 20and againG3825, “22The LordG2962 knowsG1097 the thoughtsG1261 of the wiseG4680, that they are uselessG3152.” 21SoG5620 thenG5620, 23noG3367 oneG3367 is to be boastingG2744 in peopleG444. For 24allG3956 thingsG3956 belongG1510 to you, 22 25whetherG1535 PaulG3972 orG1535 ApollosG625 orG1535 26CephasG2786, orG1535 the worldG2889 orG1535 27lifeG2222 orG1535 deathG2288, orG1535 thingsG1764 presentG1764 orG1535 thingsG3195 toG3195 comeG3195; allG3956 thingsG3956 belong to you, 23and 28you belong to ChristG5547, and 29ChristG5547 belongs to GodG2316.
