5And He couldἐδύνατοedunatoG1410not doποιῆσαιpoiēsaiG4160anyοὐδεμίανoudemianG3762miracleδύναμιν,dunaminG1411thereἐκεῖekeiG1563exceptG1508that HelaidG2007His handsχεῖραςcheirasG5495onG2007a fewὀλίγοιςoligoisG3641sickἀρρώστοιςarrōstoisG732peopleG732and healedἐθεράπευσεν.etherapeusenG2323them.

6And He wasG2296amazedG2296at their unbeliefἀπιστίανapistianG570.And He was goingG4013aroundκύκλῳkuklōG4013 G2945the villagesκώμαςkōmasG2968,teachingδιδάσκων.¶didaskōnG1321.

7AndHe summonedπροσκαλεῖταιproskaleitaiG4341the twelveδώδεκαdōdekaG1427and beganἤρξατοērxatoG757to sendἀποστέλλεινapostelleinG649them outG649inG649pairsG1417,and gaveἐδίδουedidouG1325them authorityἐξουσίανexousianG1849over the uncleanἀκαθάρτωνakathartōnG169spiritsπνευμάτωνpneumatōnG4151;

8and He instructedπαρήγγειλενparēngeilenG3853them that they were to takeαἴρωσινairōsinG142nothingμηδὲνmēdenG3367for theirjourneyὁδὸνhodonG3598,exceptG1508a mereμόνον,mononG3441staffῥάβδονrhabdonG4464--noG3361breadἄρτον,artonG740,noG3361bagπήραν,pēranG4082,noG3361moneyχαλκόν,chalkonG5475in their beltζώνηνzōnēnG2223--

9but towearὑποδεδεμένουςhupodedemenousG5265sandalsσανδάλια,sandaliaG4547; and He added,“Do not wearἐνδύσησθεendusēstheG1746twoδύοduoG1417tunicsχιτῶνας.chitōnasG5509.”

10And He saidἔλεγενelegenG3004to them,“Whereverὅπου ἐὰνhopou eanG3699 G1437you enterεἰσέλθητεeiselthēteG1525a houseοἰκίαν,oikianG3614,stayμένετεmeneteG3306thereἐκεῖekeiG1563untilἕωςhe'ōsG2193youleaveἐξέλθητεexelthēteG1831townἐκεῖθεν.ekeithenG1564.

11AnyὃςhosG3739placeτόποςtoposG5117that does not receiveδέξηταιdexētaiG1209you orμηδὲmēdeG3366listenἀκούσωσινakousōsinG191to you, as you goG1607outG1607fromG1564thereG1564,shakeἐκτινάξατεektinaxateG1621the dustG5529offG1621the solesὑποκάτωhupokatōG5270of your feetποδῶνpodōnG4228as a testimonyμαρτύριονmarturionG3142against them.”

12And they wentG1831outG1831andpreachedἐκήρυξανekēruxanG2784that peopleare to repentμετανοῶσιν,metanoōsinG3340.

13And they were castingἐξέβαλλονexeballonG1544outG1544manyπολλὰpollaG4183demonsδαιμόνιαdaimoniaG1140andwere anointingἤλειφονēleiphonG218with oilἐλαίῳelaiōG1637manyπολλοὺςpollousG4183sickἀρρώστουςarrōstousG732peopleG732and healingἐθεράπευον.¶etherapeuonG2323them.

14And KingβασιλεὺςbasileusG935HerodἩρῴδης·HērōdēsG2264heardἤκουσενēkousenG191about it,for His nameὄνομαonomaG3686had becomeἐγένετοegenetoG1096wellG5318knownG5318; and peoplewere sayingἔλεγονelegonG3004, “JohnἸωάννηςIōannēsG2491the BaptistβαπτίζωνbaptizōnG907has risenἐγήγερταιegēgertaiG1453from the deadνεκρῶν,nekrōnG3498,and that is whyδιὰdiaG1223theseG3588miraculousδυνάμειςdunameisG1411powersG1411are at workἐνεργοῦσινenergousinG1754in Him.”

15But othersἄλλοιalloiG243were sayingἔλεγονelegonG3004, “He isElijahἨλίαςĒliasG2243.”And othersἄλλοιalloiG243were sayingἔλεγονelegonG3004, “He isa prophetπροφήτηςprophētēsG4396,likeὡςhōsG5613oneεἷςheisG1520of the prophetsπροφητῶν.prophētōnG4396of old.”
