21I did not sendשָׁלַ֥חְתִּיsha.Lach.tiH7971theseprophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,But they ranרָ֑צוּRa.tzuH7323.I did not speakדִבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696to them,But they prophesiedנִבָּֽאוּ׃ni.Ba.'uH5012.

22But ifוְאִֽם־ve.'im-H518they hadstoodעָמְד֖וּ'a.me.DuH5975in My councilבְּסוֹדִ֑יbe.so.DiH5475, Then they would haveannouncedוְיַשְׁמִ֤עוּve.yash.Mi.'uH8085My wordsדְבָרַי֙de.va.RaiH1697to My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971,And would have turnedוִֽישִׁבוּם֙vi.shi.VumH7725them backH7725from their evilהָרָ֔עha.Ra'H7451wayמִדַּרְכָּ֣םmi.dar.KamH1870And from the evilוּמֵרֹ֖עַu.me.Ro.a'H7455of their deedsמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ סMa.'a.lei.HemH4611.

23“Am I a Godהַאֱלֹהֵ֧יha.'e.lo.HeiH430who isnearמִקָּרֹ֛בmi.ka.RoH7138,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “And not a Godאֱלֹהֵ֖י'e.lo.HeiH430farH7350offH4480 H7350?

24Can a personאִ֧ישׁ'ishH376hideיִסָּתֵ֨רyi.sa.TerH5641himself in hidingH4565placesH4565So that I do not seeאֶרְאֶ֖נּוּ'er.'E.nuH7200him?” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068. “Do I not fillמָלֵ֖אma.Le'H4390the heavensהַשָּׁמַ֧יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and the earthהָאָ֛רֶץha.'A.retzH776?”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

25“I haveheardשָׁמַ֗עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085whatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030have saidאָֽמְרוּ֙'a.me.RuH559whoprophesyהַֽנִּבְּאִ֥יםha.ni.be.'ImH5012falselyשֶׁ֖קֶרShe.kerH8267in My nameבִּשְׁמִ֛יbish.MiH8034,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, ‘I hadH2492aH2492dreamחָלַ֖מְתִּיcha.Lam.tiH2492,I hadH2492aH2492dreamחָלָֽמְתִּי׃cha.La.me.tiH2492!’

26HowH4970longעַד־'ad-H5704 H4970?IsH3426thereH3426anythingin the heartsבְּלֵ֥בbe.LevH3820of the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030who prophesyנִבְּאֵ֣יni.be.'EiH5012falsehoodהַשָּׁ֑קֶרha.Sha.kerH8267, theseprophetsוּנְבִיאֵ֖יu.ne.vi.'EiH5030of thedeceitfulnessתַּרְמִ֥תtar.MitH8649of their own heartלִבָּֽם׃li.BamH3820,

27who intendהַחֹשְׁבִ֗יםha.cho.she.VimH2803tomake My peopleעַמִּי֙'a.MiH5971forgetלְהַשְׁכִּ֤יחַle.hash.Ki.achH7911My nameשְׁמִ֔יshe.MiH8034by their dreamsבַּחֲל֣וֹמֹתָ֔םba.cha.Lo.mo.TamH2472whichH834they reportיְסַפְּר֖וּye.sa.pe.RuH5608to oneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376anotherלְרֵעֵ֑הוּle.re.'E.huH7453,justH3512asH3512their fathersאֲבוֹתָ֛ם'a.vo.TamH1forgotשָׁכְח֧וּsha.khe.ChuH7911My nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034because of Baalבַּבָּֽעַל׃ba.Ba.'alH1168?

28The prophetהַנָּבִ֞יאha.na.Vi'H5030whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834hasH854a dreamחֲלוֹם֙cha.lOmH2472may reportיְסַפֵּ֣רye.sa.PerH5608hisdreamחֲל֔וֹםcha.LomH2472,but let him whoוַאֲשֶׁ֤רva.'a.SherH834hasH854My wordדְּבָרִי֙de.va.RiH1697speakיְדַבֵּ֥רye.da.BerH1696My wordדְּבָרִ֖יde.va.RiH1697truthfullyאֱמֶ֑ת'e.MetH571.Whatמַה־mah-H4100does strawלַתֶּ֥בֶןla.Te.venH8401have in commonwith grainהַבָּ֖רha.BarH1250?”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

29“Is My wordדְבָרִ֛יde.va.RiH1697not likefireכָּאֵ֖שׁka.'EshH784?”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “and like ahammerוּכְפַטִּ֖ישׁu.khe.fa.TishH6360whichshattersH6483a rockסָֽלַע׃ סSa.la'H5553?

30Thereforeלָכֵ֛ןla.KhenH3651beholdH2009,I am againstעַל־'al-H5921the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “who stealמְגַנְּבֵ֣יme.ga.ne.VeiH1589My wordsדְבָרַ֔יde.va.RaiH1697from eachאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376otherרֵעֵֽהוּ׃re.'E.huH7453.

31BeholdH2009,I am againstעַל־'al-H5921the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֖םha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “whouseהַלֹּקְחִ֣יםha.lo.ke.ChimH3947their tonguesלְשׁוֹנָ֔םle.sho.NamH3956and declareוַֽיִּנְאֲמ֖וּvai.yin.'a.MuH5001, ‘The Lorddeclaresנְאֻֽם׃ne.'UmH5002!’

32BeholdH2009,I am againstעַֽל־'al-H5921those who have prophesiedנִבְּאֵ֞יni.be.'EiH5012falseשֶׁ֙קֶר֙she.kerH8267dreamsחֲלֹמ֥וֹתcha.lo.MotH2472,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “and reportedוַֽיְסַפְּרוּם֙vay.sa.pe.RumH5608them and ledH8582My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971astrayH8582by their liesבְּשִׁקְרֵיהֶ֖םbe.shik.rei.HemH8267andrecklessH6350boastingH6350; yetI did not sendשְׁלַחְתִּ֜יםshe.lach.TimH7971them nor commandצִוִּיתִ֗יםtzi.vi.TimH6680them, norH3808do theyprovideH3276thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088peopleלָֽעָם־la.'om-H5971the slightestH3276benefitH3276,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

33“Now whenוְכִי־ve.khi-H3588thisהַזֶּ֜הha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֨םha.'AmH5971orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176the prophetהַנָּבִ֤יאha.na.Vi'H5030orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176a priestכֹהֵן֙kho.HenH3548asksיִשְׁאָלְךָ֩yish.'a.le.KhaH7592you, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, ‘Whatמַה־mah-H4100is thepronouncementמַשָּׂ֖אma.Sa'H4853of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068?’then you shall sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֤ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘Whatמַה־mah-H4100pronouncementמַשָּׂ֔אma.Sa'H4853?’The Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002, ‘I willabandonוְנָטַשְׁתִּ֥יve.na.tash.TiH5203you.’

34Then as for the prophetוְהַנָּבִ֤יאve.ha.na.Vi'H5030or the priestוְהַכֹּהֵן֙ve.ha.ko.HenH3548or the peopleוְהָעָ֔םve.ha.'AmH5971whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834sayיֹאמַ֖רyo.MarH559, ‘Thepronouncementמַשָּׂ֣אma.Sa'H4853of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,’I will bringH6485punishmentH6485upon that personהָאִ֥ישׁha.'IshH376and his householdבֵּיתֽוֹ׃bei.ToH1004.

35ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541eachאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376oneוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376of you will sayתֹאמְר֛וּto.me.RuH559to his neighborרֵעֵ֖הוּre.'E.huH7453and to his brotherאָחִ֑יו'a.ChivH251: ‘Whatמֶה־meh-H4100has the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068answeredעָנָ֣ה'a.NahH6030?’or, ‘Whatוּמַה־u.mah-H4100has the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068spokenדִּבֶּ֖רdi.BerH1696?’

36For you will noלֹ֣אlo'H3808longerע֑וֹדodH5750rememberתִזְכְּרוּ־tiz.ke.ru-H2142the pronouncementוּמַשָּׂ֥אu.ma.Sa'H4853of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,becauseכִּ֣יkiH3588everyH376person’sלְאִ֣ישׁle.'IshH376own wordדְּבָר֔וֹde.va.RoH1697will becomeיִֽהְיֶה֙yih.YehH1961the pronouncementהַמַּשָּׂ֗אha.ma.Sa'H4853, and you havepervertedוַהֲפַכְתֶּ֗םva.ha.fakh.TemH2015the wordsדִּבְרֵי֙div.ReiH1697of thelivingחַיִּ֔יםchai.YimH2416Godאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430,the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,our Godאֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃'e.lo.Hei.nuH430.

37ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541you will sayתֹאמַ֖רto.MarH559to thatprophetהַנָּבִ֑יאha.na.Vi'H5030: ‘Whatמֶה־meh-H4100has the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068answeredעָנָ֣ךְ'a.NakhH6030you?’ and, ‘Whatוּמַה־u.mah-H4100has the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068spokenדִּבֶּ֖רdi.BerH1696?’

38And ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518you sayתֹּאמֵרוּ֒to.me.RuH559, ‘The pronouncementמַשָּׂ֣אma.Sa'H4853of the Lordיְהוָה֮Yah.wehH3068!’for thatH3651reasonH3651the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559thisכֹּ֚הkohH3541: ‘Becauseיַ֧עַןYa.'anH3282you saidאֲמָרְכֶ֛ם'a.ma.re.KhemH559thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088wordהַדָּבָ֥רha.da.VarH1697, “The pronouncementמַשָּׂ֣אma.Sa'H4853of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068!”I have also sentוָאֶשְׁלַ֤חva.'esh.LachH7971wordto you, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “You shall not sayתֹאמְר֖וּto.me.RuH559, ‘The pronouncementמַשָּׂ֥אma.Sa'H4853of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068!’”’

39Thereforeלָכֵ֣ןla.KhenH3651beholdH2009,I will certainlyH5382forgetוְנָשִׁ֥יתִיve.na.Shi.tiH5382you and thrustH5203you awayH5203from My presenceפָּנָֽי׃pa.NaiH6440,along with the cityהָעִיר֙ha.'IrH5892whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834I gaveנָתַ֧תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414you and your fathersוְלַאֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֖םve.la.'a.vo.tei.KhemH1.

40I will putוְנָתַתִּ֥יve.na.ta.TiH5414an everlastingעוֹלָ֑םo.LamH5769disgraceחֶרְפַּ֣תcher.PatH2781on you and an everlastingעוֹלָ֔םo.LamH5769humiliationוּכְלִמּ֣וּתu.khe.li.MutH3640whichאֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834will not be forgottenתִשָּׁכֵֽחַ׃ סti.sha.Khe.achH7911.”
