21I did notלֹא־lo'-H3808sendשָׁלַ֥חְתִּיsha.Lach.tiH7971אֶת־'et-H853these prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,yet theyוְהֵ֣םve.HemH1992have run with their messageרָ֑צוּRa.tzuH7323;I did notלֹא־lo'-H3808speakדִבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696to themאֲלֵיהֶ֖ם'a.lei.HemH413,yet theyוְהֵ֥םve.HemH1992have prophesiedנִבָּֽאוּ׃ni.Ba.'uH5012.
22But ifוְאִֽם־ve.'im-H518they had stoodעָמְד֖וּ'a.me.DuH5975in My councilבְּסוֹדִ֑יbe.so.DiH5475,they would have proclaimedוְיַשְׁמִ֤עוּve.yash.Mi.'uH8085My wordsדְבָרַי֙de.va.RaiH1697אֶת־'et-H853to My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971and turned them backוִֽישִׁבוּם֙vi.shi.VumH7725from their evilהָרָ֔עha.Ra'H7451waysמִדַּרְכָּ֣םmi.dar.KamH1870andוּמֵרֹ֖עַu.me.Ro.a'H7455deedsמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ סMa.'a.lei.HemH4611.”
24“Canאִם־'im-H518a manאִ֧ישׁ'ishH376hideיִסָּתֵ֨רyi.sa.TerH5641in secret placesבַּמִּסְתָּרִ֛יםba.mis.ta.RimH4565where Iוַאֲנִ֥יva.'a.NiH589cannotלֹֽא־lo'-H3808see himאֶרְאֶ֖נּוּ'er.'E.nuH7200?”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068. “Do Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589notהֲל֨וֹאha.Lo'H3808אֶת־'et-H853fillמָלֵ֖אma.Le'H4390the heavensהַשָּׁמַ֧יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853the earthהָאָ֛רֶץha.'A.retzH776?”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
25“I have heardשָׁמַ֗עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085אֵ֤ת'etH853the sayingsאָֽמְרוּ֙'a.me.RuH559אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834of the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030who prophesyהַֽנִּבְּאִ֥יםha.ni.be.'ImH5012liesשֶׁ֖קֶר לֵאמֹ֑רShe.ker le.MorH8267H559in My nameבִּשְׁמִ֛יbish.MiH8034: ‘I had a dreamחָלַ֖מְתִּיcha.Lam.tiH2492!I had a dreamחָלָֽמְתִּי׃cha.La.me.tiH2492!’
26How longעַד־ מָתַ֗י'ad- ma.TaiH5704H4970will this continueהֲיֵ֛שׁha.YeshH3426in the heartsבְּלֵ֥בbe.LevH3820of these prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030who prophesyנִבְּאֵ֣יni.be.'EiH5012falsehoodהַשָּׁ֑קֶרha.Sha.kerH8267,these prophetsוּנְבִיאֵ֖יu.ne.vi.'EiH5030of the delusionתַּרְמִ֥תtar.MitH8649of their own mindsלִבָּֽם׃li.BamH3820?
27They supposeהַחֹשְׁבִ֗יםha.cho.she.VimH2803the dreamsבַּחֲל֣וֹמֹתָ֔םba.cha.Lo.mo.TamH2472thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834they tellיְסַפְּר֖וּye.sa.pe.RuH5608oneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376anotherלְרֵעֵ֑הוּle.re.'E.huH7453will make My peopleעַמִּי֙'a.MiH5971forgetלְהַשְׁכִּ֤יחַle.hash.Ki.achH7911אֶת־'et-H853My nameשְׁמִ֔יshe.MiH8034,just asכַּאֲשֶׁ֨רka.'a.SherH834their fathersאֲבוֹתָ֛ם'a.vo.TamH1אֶת־'et-H853forgotשָׁכְח֧וּsha.khe.ChuH7911My nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034through the worship of Baalבַּבָּֽעַל׃ba.Ba.'alH1168.
28Let the prophetהַנָּבִ֞יאha.na.Vi'H5030whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834hasאִתּ֤וֹ'i.ToH854a dreamחֲלוֹם֙cha.lOmH2472retellיְסַפֵּ֣רye.sa.PerH5608itחֲל֔וֹםcha.LomH2472,but let him whoוַאֲשֶׁ֤רva.'a.SherH834hasאִתּ֔וֹ'i.ToH854My wordדְּבָרִי֙de.va.RiH1697speakיְדַבֵּ֥רye.da.BerH1696itדְּבָרִ֖יde.va.RiH1697truthfullyאֱמֶ֑ת'e.MetH571.For whatמַה־mah-H4100is strawלַתֶּ֥בֶןla.Te.venH8401compared toאֶת־'et-H854grainהַבָּ֖רha.BarH1250?”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
30“Thereforeלָכֵ֛ןla.KhenH3651beholdהִנְנִ֥יhi.NiH2005,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “I am againstעַל־'al-H5921the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030who stealמְגַנְּבֵ֣יme.ga.ne.VeiH1589from oneאִ֖ישׁ מֵאֵ֥ת'ish me.'EtH376H854anotherרֵעֵֽהוּ׃re.'E.huH7453words they attribute to Meדְבָרַ֔יde.va.RaiH1697.”
31“Yesהִנְנִ֥יhi.NiH2005,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “I am againstעַל־'al-H5921the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֖םha.ne.vi.'ImH5030who wagהַלֹּקְחִ֣יםha.lo.ke.ChimH3947their own tonguesלְשׁוֹנָ֔םle.sho.NamH3956and proclaimוַֽיִּנְאֲמ֖וּvai.yin.'a.MuH5001, ‘The LORDdeclaresנְאֻֽם׃ne.'UmH5002it.’”
32“Indeedהִ֠נְנִיHi.niH2005,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “I am againstעַֽל־'al-H5921those who prophesyנִבְּאֵ֞יni.be.'EiH5012falseשֶׁ֙קֶר֙she.kerH8267dreamsחֲלֹמ֥וֹתcha.lo.MotH2472and retell themוַֽיְסַפְּרוּם֙vay.sa.pe.RumH5608to lead My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971astrayוַיַּתְע֣וּvai.yat.'UH8582אֶת־'et-H853with their recklessוּבְפַחֲזוּתָ֑םu.ve.fa.cha.zu.TamH6350liesבְּשִׁקְרֵיהֶ֖םbe.shik.rei.HemH8267.It was notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808Iוְאָנֹכִ֨יve.'a.no.KhiH595who sent themשְׁלַחְתִּ֜יםshe.lach.TimH7971or commanded themצִוִּיתִ֗יםtzi.vi.TimH6680,and they are of noוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808benefitוְהוֹעֵ֛יל לֹֽא־ve.ho.'Eil lo'-H3276H3808at allיוֹעִ֥ילוּyo.'I.luH3276to theseהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088peopleלָֽעָם־la.'om-H5971,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
33“Now whenוְכִי־ve.khi-H3588thisהַזֶּ֜הha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֨םha.'AmH5971orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176a prophetהַנָּבִ֤יאha.na.Vi'H5030orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176priestכֹהֵן֙kho.HenH3548asks youיִשְׁאָלְךָ֩yish.'a.le.KhaH7592, ‘Whatמַה־mah-H4100is the burdenמַשָּׂ֖אma.Sa'H4853of the LORDלֵאמֹ֔ר יְהוָ֑הle.Mor Yah.wehH3068H559?’you are to sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֤ve.'a.mar.TaH559to themאֲלֵיהֶם֙'a.lei.HemH413אֶת־'et-H853, ‘Whatמַה־mah-H4100burdenמַשָּׂ֔אma.Sa'H4853?I will forsakeוְנָטַשְׁתִּ֥יve.na.tash.TiH5203youאֶתְכֶ֖ם'et.KhemH853,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.’
34As for the prophetוְהַנָּבִ֤יאve.ha.na.Vi'H5030orpriestוְהַכֹּהֵן֙ve.ha.ko.HenH3548oranyoneוְהָעָ֔םve.ha.'AmH5971whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834claimsיֹאמַ֖רyo.MarH559, ‘This is the burdenמַשָּׂ֣אma.Sa'H4853of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,’I will punishוּפָקַדְתִּ֛י עַל־u.fa.kad.Ti 'al-H6485H5921thatהַה֖וּא וְעַל־ha.Hu' ve.'al-H1931H5921manהָאִ֥ישׁha.'IshH376and his householdבֵּיתֽוֹ׃bei.ToH1004.
35This is whatכֹּ֥הkohH3541each manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376is to sayתֹאמְר֛וּto.me.RuH559toעַל־'al-H5921his friendרֵעֵ֖הוּ וְאִ֣ישׁre.'E.hu ve.'IshH7453H376and toאֶל־'el-H413his brotherאָחִ֑יו'a.ChivH251: ‘Whatמֶה־meh-H4100has the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068answeredעָנָ֣ה'a.NahH6030?’or ‘Whatוּמַה־u.mah-H4100has the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068spokenדִּבֶּ֖רdi.BerH1696?’
36But referתִזְכְּרוּ־tiz.ke.ru-H2142noלֹ֣אlo'H3808moreע֑וֹדodH5750to the burdenוּמַשָּׂ֥אu.ma.Sa'H4853of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,forכִּ֣יkiH3588eachלְאִ֣ישׁle.'IshH376man’s wordדְּבָר֔וֹde.va.RoH1697becomesיִֽהְיֶה֙yih.YehH1961the burdenהַמַּשָּׂ֗אha.ma.Sa'H4853,so that you pervertוַהֲפַכְתֶּ֗םva.ha.fakh.TemH2015אֶת־'et-H853the wordsדִּבְרֵי֙div.ReiH1697of the livingחַיִּ֔יםchai.YimH2416Godאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430,the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,our Godאֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃'e.lo.Hei.nuH430.
