13Thereforeלָכֵ֛ןla.KhenH3651My peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971goגָּלָ֥הga.LahH1540intoH1540exileH1540for theirlackמִבְּלִי־mi.be.li-H1097of knowledgeדָ֑עַתDa.'atH1847; And theirnoblesוּכְבוֹדוֹ֙u.khe.vo.DoH3519are famishedרָעָ֔בra.'AvH7458,And their multitudeוַהֲמוֹנ֖וֹva.ha.mo.NoH1995is parchedצִחֵ֥הtzi.ChehH6704with thirstצָמָֽא׃tza.Ma'H6772.

14Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651Sheolשְּׁאוֹל֙she.'OlH7585has enlargedהִרְחִ֤יבָהhir.Chi.vahH7337itsthroatנַפְשָׁ֔הּnaf.ShahH5315and openedוּפָעֲרָ֥הu.fa.'a.RahH6473its mouthפִ֖יהָFi.haH6310beyondלִבְלִי־liv.li-H1097measureחֹ֑קChokH2706; AndJerusalem’s splendorהֲדָרָ֧הּha.da.RahH1926,her multitudeוַהֲמוֹנָ֛הּva.ha.mo.NahH1995,her noiseוּשְׁאוֹנָ֖הּu.she.'o.NahH7588of revelry,and the jubilantוְעָלֵ֥זve.'a.LezH5938within her, descendוְיָרַ֨דve.ya.RadH3381into it.

15So the commonpeopleאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120will be humbledוַיִּשַּׁ֥חvai.yi.ShachH7817and thepersonאִ֑ישׁ'IshH376of importancebroughtH8213lowוַיִּשְׁפַּל־vai.yish.pal-H8213,The eyesוְעֵינֵ֥יve.'ei.NeiH5869of the haughtyגְבֹהִ֖יםge.vo.HimH1364also will be broughtH8213lowתִּשְׁפַּֽלְנָה׃tish.Pal.nahH8213.

16But theLordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635will beexaltedוַיִּגְבַּ֛הvai.yig.BahH1361in judgmentבַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑טba.mish.PatH4941,And the holyהַקָּד֔וֹשׁha.ka.Do.oshH6918Godוְהָאֵל֙ve.ha.'ElH410will showנִקְדָּ֖שׁnik.DashH6942HimselfholyH6942in righteousnessבִּצְדָקָֽה׃bitz.da.KahH6666.

17Then the lambsכְבָשִׂ֖יםkhe.va.SimH3532will grazeוְרָע֥וּve.ra.'UH7462as in their pastureכְּדָבְרָ֑םke.da.ve.RamH1699,And strangersגָּרִ֥יםga.RimH1481will eatיֹאכֵֽלוּ׃yo.Khe.luH398in the ruinsוְחָרְב֥וֹתve.cha.re.VotH2723of thewealthyמֵחִ֖יםme.ChimH4220.
