2It was becauseκατὰkataG2596of arevelationἀποκάλυψινapokalupsinG602that I wentG305upG305;and I submittedἀνεθέμηνanethemēnG394to them thegospelεὐαγγέλιονeuangelionG2098whichὃhoG3739I preachκηρύσσωkērussōG2784amongἐνenG1722the Gentilesἔθνεσιν,ethnesinG1484, but I did soin privateκατ᾽ ἰδίανkat᾽ idianG2596 G2398to thoseG3588who were of reputationδοκοῦσιν,dokousinG1380,forG3381fearG3381thatG3381somehowπωςpōsG4458I might berunningτρέχωtrechōG5143,orἢēG2228had runἔδραμον.edramonG5143,in vainκενὸνkenonG2756.

3But not evenοὐδὲoudeG3761TitusΤίτοςTitosG5103,whoὁhoG3588was with me, though he was a GreekἝλληνHellēnG1672, wascompelledἠναγκάσθηēnagkasthēG315to be circumcisedπεριτμηθῆναι·peritmēthēnaiG4059.

4YetδὲdeG1161it was a concernbecauseδιὰdiaG1223of thefalseψευδαδέλφους,pseudadelphousG5569brothersG5569secretlyG3920broughtG3920in, whohad sneakedG3920inG3920to spyG2684onG2684ourfreedomἐλευθερίανeleutherianG1657whichἣνhēnG3739we haveἔχομενechomenG2192in ChristΧριστῷChristōG5547JesusἸησοῦ,IēsouG2424,inG2443orderG2443toG2443enslaveκαταδουλώσουσιν,katadoulōsousinG2615us.

5But we did not yieldεἴξαμενeixamenG1502in subjectionὑποταγῇ,hupotagēaG5292to them, evenοὐδὲoudeG3761for an hourὥρανhōranG5610,soἵναinaG2443thatG2443the truthἀλήθειαalētheiaG225of the gospelεὐαγγελίουeuangeliouG2098would remainδιαμείνῃdiameinēG1265with you.

6But from thoseG3588whowere of considerableτι,tiG5100reputeδοκούντωνdokountōnG1380(whatὁποῖοίhopoioiG3697they were makesG1308noοὐδένoudenG3762differenceG1308to me;GodθεὸςtheosG2316showsλαμβάνει·lambaneiG2983noοὐouG3756favoritismπρόσωπονprosōponG4383)--wellγὰρgarG1063,thoseG3588who were of reputeδοκοῦντεςdokountesG1380contributedπροσανέθεντο,prosanethentoG4323nothingοὐδὲνoudenG3762to me.

7But on the contraryτοὐναντίον,tounantionG5121,seeingG3708that I had beenentrustedπεπίστευμαιpepisteumaiG4100with thegospelεὐαγγέλιονeuangelionG2098to the uncircumcisedἀκροβυστίαςakrobustiasG203,justG2531asG2531PeterΠέτροςPetrosG4074had beento the circumcisedπεριτομῆς,peritomēsG4061
