8And GodθεὸςtheosG2316,whoG2589knowsG2589theG2589heartG2589,testifiedἐμαρτύρησενemarturēsenG3140to themgivingδοὺςdousG1325them the HolyἅγιονhagionG40SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151,justG2531asG2531He alsoG2532did to us;

11But we believeπιστεύομενpisteuomenG4100that we are savedσωθῆναιsōthēnaiG4982throughδιὰdiaG1223the graceχάριτοςcharitosG5485of the LordκυρίουkuriouG2962JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424,in the sameὃνhonG3739wayτρόπονtroponG5158as they alsoG2548are.”

14SimeonΣυμεὼνSumeōnG4826has describedἐξηγήσατοexēgēsatoG1834howκαθὼςkathōsG2531GodθεὸςtheosG2316firstπρῶτονprōtonG4413concernedG1980Himself aboutG1980takingλαβεῖνlabeinG2983a peopleλαὸνlaonG2992for His nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686from amongἐξexG1537the GentilesἐθνῶνethnōnG1484.

18SaysG3004the LordG2962, whomakesG4160theseG3778thingsG3778knownγνωστὰgnōstaG1110from longG165agoG165.

19ThereforeδιὸdioG1352, it ismy judgmentκρίνωkrinōG2919that we do not causeG3926troubleG3926for thoseG3588from the GentilesἐθνῶνethnōnG1484who are turningἐπιστρέφουσινepistrephousinG1994to Godθεόν,theonG2316,

20but that we writeἐπιστεῖλαιepisteilaiG1989to them that they abstainἀπέχεσθαιapechesthaiG568fromthingsG234contaminatedG234by idolsεἰδώλωνeidōlōnG1497, from acts ofsexualπορνείαςporneiasG4202immoralityG4202, from what has beenstrangledπνικτοῦpniktouG4156,and from bloodαἵματος.aimatosG129.
