Mark 14:55-64
55NowG1161 the chiefG749 priestsG749 and the wholeG3650 12CouncilG4892 kept tryingG2212 to obtainG2212 testimonyG3141 againstG2596 JesusG2424 to putG2289 Him to deathG2289, and they were not findingG2147 any.
56For manyG4183 were givingG5576 falseG5576 testimonyG5576 againstG2596 Him, but their testimonyG3141 was not consistentG2470.
57SomeG5100 stoodG450 up and began to giveG5576 falseG5576 testimonyG5576 againstG2596 Him, sayingG3004,
58“We heardG191 Him sayG3004, ‘3I will destroyG2647 thisG3778 4templeG3485 madeG5499 with handsG5499, and in threeG5140 daysG2250 I will buildG3618 anotherG243 madeG886 withoutG886 handsG886.’”
59Not evenG3761 in thisG3779 respectG3779 was their testimonyG3141 consistentG2470.
60The highG749 priestG749 stoodG450 up and came forwardG1519G3319 and questionedG1905 JesusG2424, sayingG3004, “Do You not answerG611? 5WhatG5101 is it that theseG3778 menG3778 are testifyingG2649 againstG2649 You?”
616But He keptG4623 silentG4623 and did not answerG611. 7AgainG3825 the highG749 priestG749 was questioningG1905 Him, and 8sayingG3004 to Him, “Are You 9the ChristG5547, the SonG5207 of the BlessedG2128 One?”
62And JesusG2424 saidG3004, “I amG1510; and you shall seeG3708 10the SonG5207 of ManG444 sittingG2521 at the rightG1188 handG1188 of PowerG1411, and 11comingG2064 with the cloudsG3507 of heavenG3772.”
6312TearingG1284 his clothesG5509, the highG749 priestG749 saidG3004, “WhatG5101 furtherG2089 needG5532 do we haveG2192 of witnessesG3144?
64You have heardG191 the 13blasphemyG988; howG5101 does it seemG5316 to you?” And they allG3956 condemnedG2632 Him to be deservingG1777 of deathG2288.
