6The LordH3068 saidH559, “BeholdH2005, they are oneH259 peopleH5971, and they allH3605 have 12the sameH259 languageH8193. And thisH2088 is what they beganH2490 to doH6213, and nowH6258 nothingH3808H3605 whichH834 they purposeH2161 to doH6213 will be 3impossibleH1219 for them. 7ComeH3051, 4let Us goH3381 downH3381 and thereH8033 5confuseH1101 their 6languageH8193, soH834 that they will not understandH8085 oneH376 another’sH7453 7speechH8193.” 8So the LordH3068 8scatteredH6327 them abroad from thereH8033 overH5921 the faceH6440 of the wholeH3605 earthH776; and they stoppedH2308 buildingH1129 the cityH5892. 9ThereforeH5921H3651 its nameH8034 was calledH7121 910BabelH894, becauseH3588 thereH8033 the LordH3068 confusedH1101 the 11languageH8193 of the wholeH3605 earthH776; and from thereH8033 the LordH3068 scatteredH6327 them abroad overH5921 the faceH6440 of the wholeH3605 earthH776.
