1And the dragon stoodG2476on the sandG285of theseashoreG2281.ThenG2532I sawG3708abeastθηρίονthērionG2342comingἀναβαῖνον,anabainonG305up out of the seaθαλάσσηςthalassēsG2281,havingἔχονechonG2192tenδέκαdekaG1176hornsκέραταkerataG2768andsevenG2033headsκεφαλὰςkephalasG2776,and on his hornsκεράτωνkeratōnG2768weretenδέκαdekaG1176diademsδιαδήματαdiadēmataG1238,and on his headsκεφαλὰςkephalasG2776wereblasphemousβλασφημίας.blasphēmiasG988namesὀνόματαonomataG3686.

2And the beastθηρίονthērionG2342whichὃhoG3739I sawG3708waslikeG3664a leopardπαρδάλειpardaleiG3917,and his feetπόδεςpodesG4228were likeG3664those ofa bearἄρκουarkouG715,and his mouthστόμαstomaG4750likeG5613the mouthστόμαstomaG4750ofa lionλέοντος.leontosG3023. And thedragonδράκωνdrakōnG1404gaveἔδωκενedōkenG1325him his powerδύναμινdunaminG1411and histhroneθρόνονthrononG2362and greatμεγάλην.megalēnG3173authorityἐξουσίανexousianG1849.

3I sawoneμίανmianG1520of his headsκεφαλῶνkephalōnG2776as ifὡςhōsG5613it had beenslainἐσφαγμένηνesphagmenēnG4969, and hisfatalG2288woundπληγὴplēgēG4127was healedἐθεραπεύθη,etherapeuthēG2323.And the wholeὅληholēG3650earthγῆgēG1093was amazedἐθαυμάσθηethaumasthēG2296and followedafterὀπίσωopisōG3694the beastθηρίου.thēriouG2342;

4they worshipedπροσεκύνησανprosekunēsanG4352thedragonδράκοντιdrakontiG1404becauseὅτιhotiG3754hegaveἔδωκενedōkenG1325his authorityἐξουσίανexousianG1849to the beastθηρίῳthēriōG2342;and they worshipedπροσεκύνησανprosekunēsanG4352the beastθηρίῳthēriōG2342,sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “WhoτίςtisG5101is likeὅμοιοςhomoiosG3664the beastθηρίῳthēriōG2342,and whoτίςtisG5101is ableδύναταιdunataiG1410to wageG4170warπολεμῆσαιpolemēsaiG4170with him?”

6And he openedἤνοιξενēnoixenG455his mouthστόμαstomaG4750in blasphemiesβλασφημίαςblasphēmiasG988againstπρὸςprosG4314GodθεὸνtheonG2316,to blasphemeβλασφημῆσαιblasphēmēsaiG987His nameὄνομαonomaG3686and His tabernacleσκηνὴνskēnēnG4633, that is,thoseG3588whodwellσκηνοῦντας.skēnountasG4637in heavenοὐρανῷouranōG3772.

7It was alsoG2532givenἐδόθηedothēG1325to him tomakeποιῆσαιpoiēsaiG4160warπόλεμονpolemonG4171with thesaintsἁγίωνhagiōnG40and to overcomeνικῆσαιnikēsaiG3528them, and authorityἐξουσίαexousiaG1849overἐπὶepiG1909everyπᾶσανpasanG3956tribeφυλὴνphulēnG5443and peopleλαὸνlaonG2992and tongueγλῶσσανglōssanG1100and nationἔθνος.ethnosG1484was givenἐδόθηedothēG1325to him.

10IfεἴeiG1487anyoneτιςtisG5100is destinedfor captivityαἰχμαλωσίανaichmalōsianG161,to captivityαἰχμαλωσίανaichmalōsianG161he goesὑπάγει,hupageiG5217;ifεἴeiG1487anyoneτιςtisG5100killsἀποκτανθῆναι,apoktanthēnaiG615with the swordμαχαίρῃmachairēG3162,with the swordμαχαίρῃmachairēG3162he mustG1163be killedἀποκτανθῆναι·apoktanthēnaiG615.HereὧδέhōdeG5602is theperseveranceὑπομονὴhupomonēG5281and the faithπίστιςpistisG4102of thesaintsἁγίων.¶hagiōnG40.
