2with whomἧςhēsG3739the kingsβασιλεῖςbasileisG935of the earthγῆς,gēsG1093committedG4203acts ofimmoralityἐπόρνευσανeporneusanG4203, andthoseG3588who dwellκατοικοῦντεςkatoikountesG2730on the earthγῆνgēnG1093weremadeG3184drunkG3184with the wineοἴνουoinouG3631of her immoralityπορνείαςporneiasG4202.”

3Andhe carriedG667me awayἀπήνεγκένapēnegkenG667in the Spiritπνεύματι.pneumatiG4151into a wildernessἔρημονerēmonG2048;and I sawG3708a womanγυναῖκαgunaikaG1135sittingκαθημένηνkathēmenēnG2521on ascarletκόκκινονkokkinonG2847beastθηρίονthērionG2342,fullγέμονταgemontaG1073ofblasphemousβλασφημίας,blasphēmiasG988namesὀνόματαonomataG3686,havingἔχωνechōnG2192sevenἑπτὰheptaG2033headsκεφαλὰςkephalasG2776and tenδέκα.dekaG1176hornsκέραταkerataG2768.

4The womanγυνὴgunēG1135was clothedπεριβεβλημένηperibeblēmenēG4016in purpleπορφυροῦνporphurounG4210and scarletκόκκινονkokkinonG2847, andadornedκεχρυσωμένηkechrusōmenēG5558with goldχρυσίῳchrusiōG5553and preciousτιμίῳtimiōG5093stonesλίθῳlithōG3037and pearlsμαργαρίταις,margaritaisG3135,havingἔχουσαechousaG2192in her handχειρὶcheiriG5495a goldχρυσοῦνchrusounG5552cupποτήριονpotērionG4221fullγέμονgemonG1073of abominationsβδελυγμάτωνbdelugmatōnG946and of the uncleanἀκάθαρταakathartaG169thingsG169of her immoralityπορνείαςporneiasG4202,

6And I sawG3708the womanγυναῖκαgunaikaG1135drunkμεθύουσανmethuousanG3184withthe bloodαἵματοςaimatosG129of thesaintsἁγίωνhagiōnG40,and with the bloodαἵματοςaimatosG129of the witnessesμαρτύρωνmarturōnG3144of JesusἸησοῦ,IēsouG2424.When I sawG3708her, I wonderedἐθαύμασαethaumasaG2296greatlyθαῦμα μέγα.thauma megaG2295 G3173.

7And the angelἄγγελος·angelosG32saidG3004to me, “Whyδιὰ τίdia tiG1223 G5101do you wonderἐθαύμασας;ethaumasasG2296?I will tellG3004you themysteryμυστήριονmustērionG3466of the womanγυναικὸςgunaikosG1135and of the beastθηρίουthēriouG2342that carriesβαστάζοντοςbastazontosG941her, which hasἔχοντοςechontosG2192thesevenἑπτὰheptaG2033headsκεφαλὰςkephalasG2776and the tenδέκαdekaG1176hornsκέρατα.¶kerataG2768.

8“The beastθηρίονthērionG2342that you sawG3708was, and is not, and is aboutμέλλειmelleiG3195tocomeἀναβαίνεινanabaineinG305up out of theabyssἀβύσσουabussouG12andgoὑπάγει.hupageiG5217to destructionἀπώλειανapōleianG684. AndthoseG3588who dwellκατοικοῦντεςkatoikountesG2730on the earthγῆς,gēsG1093,whoseG3739nameὄνομαonomaG3686has not been writtenγέγραπταιgegraptaiG1125in the bookβιβλίονbiblionG975of lifeζωῆςzōēsG2222from the foundationκαταβολῆςkatabolēsG2602of the worldκόσμου,kosmouG2889, willwonderθαυμασθήσονταιthaumasthēsontaiG2296when they seeβλεπόντωνblepontōnG991the beastθηρίονthērionG2342,that he was and is not and will comeπαρέσται.parestaiG3918.

9HereὧδεhōdeG5602is the mindνοῦςnousG3563which hasἔχωνechōnG2192wisdomσοφίαν.sophianG4678. ThesevenἑπτὰheptaG2033headsκεφαλαὶkephalaiG2776are sevenἑπτὰheptaG2033mountainsὄρηorēG3735on whichὅπουhopouG3699the womanγυνὴgunēG1135sitsκάθηταιkathētaiG2521,

10and they are sevenG2033kingsG935;fiveπέντεpenteG4002have fallenἔπεσαν,epesanG4098,oneεἷςheisG1520is, the otherἄλλοςallosG243has not yetοὔπωoupōG3768comeἦλθεν·ēlthenG2064;and whenὅτανhotanG3752he comesἔλθῃ,elthēG2064,he mustδεῖdeiG1163remainμεῖναι.¶meinaiG3306a littleὀλίγονoligonG3641whileG3641.

11The beastθηρίονthērionG2342whichὃhoG3739was and is not, is himselfαὐτὸςautosG846alsoG2532an eighthὄγδοόςogdoosG3590and is oneof the sevenἑπτάheptaG2033, and hegoesὑπάγει.hupageiG5217to destructionἀπώλειανapōleianG684.

12ThetenδέκαdekaG1176hornsκέραταkerataG2768whichἃhaG3739you sawG3708are tenδέκαdekaG1176kingsβασιλεῖςbasileisG935whoοἵτινεςoitinesG3748have not yetοὔπωoupōG3768receivedἔλαβονelabonG2983a kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932,but they receiveλαμβάνουσινlambanousinG2983authorityἐξουσίανexousianG1849as kingsβασιλεῖςbasileisG935with the beastθηρίου.thēriouG2342for oneμίανmianG1520hourὥρανhōranG5610.

13TheseοὗτοιhoutoiG3778haveἔχουσινechousinG2192oneμίανmianG1520purposeγνώμηνgnōmēnG1106,and they giveδιδόασιν.didoasinG1325their powerδύναμινdunaminG1411and authorityἐξουσίανexousianG1849to the beastθηρίῳthēriōG2342.

14TheseοὗτοιhoutoiG3778will wageG4170warπολεμήσουσιν,polemēsousinG4170againstG3326the LambἀρνίουarniouG721,and the LambἀρνίονarnionG721willovercomeνικήσειnikēseiG3528them, becauseὅτιhotiG3754He isLordκύριοςkuriosG2962of lordsκυρίωνkuriōnG2962andKingβασιλεὺςbasileusG935of kingsβασιλέων,basileōnG935, andthoseG3588whoG3588are with Him are thecalledκλητοὶklētoiG2822and chosenἐκλεκτοὶeklektoiG1588and faithfulπιστοί.¶pistoiG4103.”

15And he saidλέγειlegeiG3004to me, “ThewatersὕδαταhudataG5204whichἃhaG3739you sawG3708whereοὗhouG3757the harlotπόρνηpornēG4204sitsκάθηται,kathētaiG2521, arepeoplesλαοὶlaoiG2992and multitudesὄχλοιochloiG3793and nationsἔθνηethnēG1484and tonguesγλῶσσαι.glōssaiG1100.

16And thetenδέκαdekaG1176hornsκέραταkerataG2768whichἃhaG3739you sawG3708,and the beastθηρίον,thērionG2342,theseοὗτοιhoutoiG3778will hateμισήσουσινmisēsousinG3404the harlotπόρνηνpornēnG4204and will makeποιήσουσινpoiēsousinG4160herdesolateἠρημωμένηνērēmōmenēnG2049andnakedγυμνὴνgumnēnG1131, and willeatG2068her fleshσάρκαςsarkasG4561and willburnκατακαύσουσινkatakausousinG2618her up with fireπυρί.puriG4442.

17ForGodθεὸςtheosG2316has putἔδωκενedōkenG1325it in their heartsκαρδίαςkardiasG2588to executeποιῆσαιpoiēsaiG4160HispurposeγνώμηνgnōmēnG1106byhavingποιῆσαιpoiēsaiG4160a commonμίανmianG1520purposeγνώμηνgnōmēnG1106,and by givingδοῦναιdounaiG1325their kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932to the beastθηρίῳthēriōG2342,untilἄχριachriG891thewordsλόγοιlogoiG3056of Godθεοῦ.theouG2316will be fulfilledτελεσθήσονταιtelesthēsontaiG5055.

18The womanγυνὴgunēG1135whomἣνhēnG3739you sawG3708isthe greatμεγάληmegalēG3173cityπόλιςpolisG4172, whichreignsἔχουσα βασιλείανechousa basileianG2192 G932overἐπὶepiG1909the kingsβασιλέωνbasileōnG935of the earthγῆς.¶gēsG1093.”
