Numbers 23:7-23
7And he tookH5375 up his parableH4912, and saidH559, BalakH1111 the kingH4428 of MoabH4124 hath brought me from AramH758, from the mountainsH2042 of the eastH6924: Come, curseH779 me JacobH3290, and come, denounceH2194 IsraelH3478!
8HowH4100 shall I curseH6895 whom 1GodH410 hath not cursedH6895? or howH4100 shall I denounceH2194 whom Jehovah doth not denounceH2194?
9For from the topH7218 of the rocksH6697 I seeH7200 him, and from the hillsH1389 I behold him: Lo, [it is] a peopleH5971 that shall dwellH7931 aloneH910 and shall not be reckonedH2803 among the nationsH1471.
10Who can countH4487 the dustH6083 of JacobH3290, and the numberH4557 of the fourthH7255 partH319 of IsraelH3478? Let my soulH5315 dieH4191 the deathH4191 of the righteous, and let my endH319 beH1961 like his!
11And BalakH1111 saidH559 to BalaamH1109, What hast thou done to me? I tookH3947 thee to curseH6895 mine enemiesH341, and behold, thou hast blessedH1288 them altogether.
12And he answered and saidH559, Must I not takeH8104 heedH8104 to speakH1696 that which Jehovah putsH7760 in my mouthH6310?
13And BalakH1111 saidH559 to him, Come, I pray thee, with me to another placeH4725, from whence thou wilt seeH7200 them; thou shalt seeH7200 onlyH657 the extremity of them and shalt not seeH7200 them all, and curseH6895 me them from thence.
14And he tookH3947 him to the watchmen's fieldH7704, to the topH7218 of PisgahH6449, and builtH1129 sevenH7651 altarsH4196, and offeredH5927 up a bullock and a ramH352 on [each] altarH4196.
15And [Balaam] saidH559 to BalakH1111, StandH3320 here by thy burnt-offering, and I will go to meetH7136 yonder.
16And Jehovah metH7136 BalaamH1109, and putH7760 a wordH1697 in his mouthH6310, and saidH559, ReturnH7725 to BalakH1111, and thusH3541 shalt thou speakH1696.
17And he cameH935 to him, and behold, he was standingH5324 by his burnt-offering, and the princesH8269 of MoabH4124 with him; and BalakH1111 saidH559 to him, What has Jehovah spokenH1696?
18Then he tookH5375 up his parableH4912 and saidH559, RiseH6965 up, BalakH1111, and hearH8085! hearken unto me, sonH1121 of ZipporH6834!
192GodH410 is not a manH376, that he should lieH3576; neither a sonH1121 of manH376, that he should repentH5162. Shall he sayH559 and not do? and shall he speakH1696 and not makeH6213 it good?
20Behold, I have receivedH3947 [mission] to blessH1288; and he hath blessedH1288, and I cannot reverse it.
21He hath not beheld iniquity in JacobH3290, neither hath he seenH7200 wrong in IsraelH3478; Jehovah his 3GodH430 is with him, and the shoutH8643 of a kingH4428 is in his midst.
224GodH410 broughtH3318 him out of EgyptH4714; he hath as it were the strength of a buffalo.
23For there is no enchantment against JacobH3290, neither is there any divinationH7081 against IsraelH3478. At this timeH6256 it shall be saidH559 of JacobH3290 and of IsraelH3478, What hath 5GodH410 wrought!
