Numbers 21:21-23

21And IsraelH3478 sentH7971 messengersH4397 to SihonH5511 kingH4428 of the AmoritesH567, sayingH559,

22Let us passH5674 through thy landH776; we will not turnH5186 into the fieldsH7704, or into the vineyardsH3754; we will not drinkH8354 waterH4325 out of the wellsH875; on the king's roadH1870 will we go until we have passedH5674 thy borderH1366.

23But SihonH5511 would not suffer IsraelH3478 to goH3318 through his borderH1366; and SihonH5511 gatheredH622 all his peopleH5971, and wentH3318 out against IsraelH3478 into the wildernessH4057, and cameH935 to JahazH3096, and foughtH3898 against IsraelH3478.
