Numbers 14:39-45
39And MosesH4872 told all these sayings to all the children of IsraelH3478; then the peopleH5971 mournedH56 greatly. 40And they roseH7925 up earlyH7925 in the morningH1242, and wentH5927 up to the hill-top, sayingH559, Here are we, and we will goH5927 up to the placeH4725 of which Jehovah has spoken; for we have sinnedH2398. 41And MosesH4872 saidH559, WhyH4100 now do ye transgressH5674 the commandment of Jehovah? but it shall not prosperH6743! 42GoH5927 not up, for Jehovah is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemiesH341; 43for the Amalekites and the CanaanitesH3669 are there before you, and ye shall fallH5307 by the swordH2719; for as ye have turnedH7725 awayH7725 from Jehovah, Jehovah will not beH1961 with you. 44Yet they presumed to goH5927 up to the hill-top; but the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of Jehovah, and MosesH4872, did not departH4185 from the midstH7130 of the campH4264. 45And the Amalekites and the CanaanitesH3669 who dweltH3427 on that hillH2022, cameH3381 downH3381 and smote them, and cut them to pieces, as far as HormahH2767.
