Numbers 14:11-19

And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, How long will this peopleH5971 despise me? and how long will they not believeH539 me, for all the signsH226 which I have done among them?

I will smite them with the pestilenceH1698, and destroy them, and will makeH6213 of thee a nationH1471 greaterH1419 and mightierH6099 than they.

And MosesH4872 saidH559 to Jehovah, Then the EgyptiansH4713 will hearH8085 it; for in thy might thou broughtest up this peopleH5971 from the midstH7130 of them;

and they will tell it to the inhabitantsH3427 of this landH776, [who] have heardH8085 that thou, Jehovah, art in the midstH7130 of this peopleH5971, that thou, Jehovah, lettest thyself be seenH7200 eyeH5869 to eyeH5869, and that thy cloudH6051 standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, in a pillarH5982 of cloudH6051 by dayH3119, and in a pillarH5982 of fireH784 by nightH3915;

if thou now slayest this peopleH5971 as oneH259 manH376, then the nationsH1471 that have heardH8085 thy fame will speak, sayingH559,

Because Jehovah was not ableH3201 to bringH935 this peopleH5971 into the landH776 that he had swornH7650 unto them, he has therefore slain them in the wildernessH4057.

And nowH6258, I beseech thee, let the powerH3581 of the LordH136 be greatH1431, according as thou hast spokenH1696, sayingH559,

Jehovah is slow to angerH639, and abundant in goodness, forgivingH5375 iniquityH5771 and transgressionH6588, but by no means clearing [the guilty], visitingH6485 the iniquityH5771 of the fathersH1 upon the children, upon the thirdH8029 and fourthH7256 [generationH8029].

Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquityH5771 of this peopleH5971 according to the greatnessH1433 of thy loving-kindness, and as thou hast forgivenH5545 this peopleH5971, from EgyptH4714 even until now.
