1And thou shalt makeH6213 an altarH4196 to burn incenseH7004 upon: of acaciaH7848 woodH6086 shalt thou makeH6213 it. 2A cubitH520 shall beH1961 the lengthH753 thereof, and a cubitH520 the breadthH7341 thereof; foursquare shall it beH1961; and two cubitsH520 shall beH1961 the heightH6967 thereof: the hornsH7161 thereof shall beH1961 of oneH4480 piece with it. 3And thou shalt overlayH6823 it with pureH2889 goldH2091, the topH1406 thereof, and the sides thereof roundH5439 about, and the hornsH7161 thereof; and thou shalt makeH6213 unto it a crown of goldH2091 roundH5439 about. 4And twoH8147 golden ringsH2885 shalt thou makeH6213 for it under the crown thereof; upon the twoH8147 ribs thereof, upon the twoH8147 sidesH6654 of it shalt thou makeH6213 them; and they shall beH1961 for places for staves wherewith to bearH5375 it. 5And thou shalt makeH6213 the staves of acaciaH7848 woodH6086, and overlayH6823 them with goldH2091. 6And thou shalt putH5414 it before the veil that is by the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715, before the mercy-seat that is over the testimonyH5715, whereH834 I will meetH3259 with thee. 7And AaronH175 shall burn thereon incenseH7004 of sweet spices: every morningH1242, when he dresseth the lampsH5216, he shall burn it. 8And when AaronH175 lighteth the lampsH5216 at even, he shall burn it, a perpetualH8548 incenseH7004 before Jehovah throughout your generationsH1755. 9Ye shall offerH5927 no strangeH2114 incenseH7004 thereon, nor burnt-offering, nor meal-offering; and ye shall pourH5258 no drink-offering thereon. 10And AaronH175 shall make atonementH3725 upon the hornsH7161 of it once in the yearH8141; with the bloodH1818 of the sin-offering of atonementH3725 once in the yearH8141 shall he make atonementH3725 for it throughout your generationsH1755: it is most holyH6944 unto Jehovah.

11And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 12When thou takest the sum of the children of IsraelH3478, according to those that are numbered of them, then shall they giveH5414 every manH376 a ransomH3724 for his soulH5315 unto Jehovah, when thou numberest them; that there beH1961 no plagueH5063 among them, when thou numberest them. 13This they shall giveH5414, every oneH2088 that passeth over unto them that are numbered, halfH4276 a shekelH8255 after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944; (the shekelH8255 is twentyH6242 gerahsH1626), halfH4276 a shekelH8255 for an offering to Jehovah. 14Every one that passeth over unto them that are numbered, from twentyH6242 yearsH8141 old and upwardH4605, shall giveH5414 the offering of Jehovah. 15The richH6223 shall not giveH5414 more, and the poorH1800 shall not giveH5414 less, than the halfH4276 shekelH8255, when they giveH5414 the offering of Jehovah, to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315. 16And thou shalt takeH3947 the atonementH3722 moneyH3701 from the children of IsraelH3478, and shalt appoint it for the serviceH5656 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150; that it may beH1961 a memorialH2146 for the children of IsraelH3478 before Jehovah, to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315.

17And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 18Thou shalt also makeH5414 a laverH3595 of brass, and the baseH3653 thereof of brass, whereat to washH7364. And thou shalt putH5414 it between the tentH168 of meetingH4150 and the altarH4196, and thou shalt putH5414 waterH4325 therein. 19And AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 shall washH7364 their handsH3027 and their feetH7272 thereat: 20when they goH935 into the tentH168 of meetingH4150, they shall washH7364 with waterH4325, that they dieH4191 not; or when they comeH935 near to the altarH4196 to minister, to burn an offeringH801 made by fireH801 unto Jehovah. 21So they shall washH7364 their handsH3027 and their feetH7272, that they dieH4191 not: and it shall beH1961 a statuteH2706 for everH5769 to them, even to him and to his seedH2233 throughout their generationsH1755.

22Moreover Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 23TakeH3947 thou also unto thee the chiefH7218 spicesH1314: of flowing myrrhH4753 fiveH2568 hundredH3967 shekels, and of sweet cinnamonH7076 halfH4276 so much, even two hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572, and of sweet calamusH7070 two hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572, 24and of cassiaH6916 fiveH2568 hundredH3967, after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944, and of oliveH2132 oilH8081 a hinH1969; 25and thou shalt makeH6213 it a holyH6944 anointingH4888 oilH8081, a perfumeH7545 compounded after the art of the perfumerH7543: it shall beH1961 a holyH6944 anointingH4888 oilH8081. 26And thou shalt anointH4886 therewith the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715, 27and the tableH7979 and all the vesselsH3627 thereof, and the candlestick and the vesselsH3627 thereof, and the altarH4196 of incenseH7004, 28and the altarH4196 of burnt-offering with all the vesselsH3627 thereof, and the laverH3595 and the baseH3653 thereof. 29And thou shalt sanctifyH6942 them, that they may beH1961 most holyH6944: whatsoever toucheth them shall beH1961 holyH6944. 30And thou shalt anointH4886 AaronH175 and his sonsH1121, and sanctifyH6942 them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office. 31And thou shalt speakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, This shall beH1961 a holyH6944 anointingH4888 oilH8081 unto me throughout your generationsH1755. 32Upon the fleshH1320 of manH120 shall it not beH1961 poured, neither shall ye makeH6213 any like it, according to the composition thereof: it is holyH6944, and it shall beH1961 holyH6944 unto you. 33Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, he shall be cutH3772 off from his peopleH5971.

34And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, TakeH3947 unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; sweet spices with pureH2134 frankincenseH3828: of each shall there beH1961 a like weight; 35and thou shalt makeH6213 of it incenseH7004, a perfumeH7545 after the art of the perfumerH7543, seasoned with salt, pureH2889 and holyH6944: 36and thou shalt beatH7833 some of it very small, and putH5414 of it before the testimonyH5715 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, whereH834 I will meetH3259 with thee: it shall beH1961 unto you most holyH6944. 37And the incenseH7004 which thou shalt makeH6213, according to the composition thereof ye shall not makeH6213 for yourselves: it shall beH1961 unto thee holyH6944 for Jehovah. 38Whosoever shall makeH6213 like unto that, to smellH7306 thereof, he shall be cutH3772 off from his peopleH5971.
