2 Corinthians 12:1-9

1Well, it is not of profit to me to boastG2744, for I will comeG2064 to visionsG3701 and revelationsG602 of [the] LordG2962.

2I know a manG444 in ChristG5547, fourteenG1180 yearsG2094 ago, (whether in [the] bodyG4983 I know not, or out of the bodyG4983 I know not, 1GodG2316 knows;) suchG5108 [a one] caught up to [the] thirdG5154 heavenG3772.

3And I know such a manG444, (whether in [the] bodyG4983 or out of the bodyG4983 I know not, 2GodG2316 knows;)

4that he was caught up into paradiseG3857, and heardG191 unspeakable thingsG3739 saidG2980 which it is not allowed to manG444 to utter.

5Of suchG5108 [a oneG3588] I will boastG2744, but of myself I will not boastG2744, unless in my weaknessesG769.

6For if I shall desireG2309 to boastG2744, I shall not beG1510 a foolG878; for I will sayG3004 [the] truthG225; but I forbear, lestG3361 any oneG5100 should think as to me above what he seesG991 me [to beG1510], or whatever he may hearG191 of me.

7And that I might not be exalted by the exceeding greatness of the revelationsG602, there was givenG1325 to me a thorn for the fleshG4561, a messengerG32 of SatanG4567 that he might buffet me, that I might not be exalted.

8For this I thrice besought the LordG2962 that it might departG868 from me.

9And he saidG3004 to me, My graceG5485 suffices thee; for [my] powerG1411 is perfected in weaknessG769. Most gladlyG2236 thereforeG3767 will I ratherG3123 boastG2744 in my weaknessesG769, that the powerG1411 of the ChristG5547 may dwell upon me.
