1 Corinthians 14:34-40
34Let [your] womenG1135 be silentG4601 in the assemblies, for it is not permittedG2010 to them to speakG2980; but to be in subjectionG5293, as the lawG3551 alsoG2532 saysG3004. 35But if they wishG2309 to learnG3129 anythingG5100, let them askG1905 their ownG2398 husbandsG435 at homeG3624; for it isG1510 a shame for a womanG1135 to speakG2980 in assemblyG1577. 36Did the wordG3056 of 1GodG2316 goG1831 out from you, or did it comeG1831 to you onlyG3441? 37If any oneG5100 thinksG1380 himself to beG1510 a prophetG4396 or spiritualG4152, let him recognise the thingsG3739 that I writeG1125 to you, that it isG1510 [the] Lord's commandment. 38But if any be ignorantG50, let him be ignorantG50. 39So that, brethren, desireG2206 to prophesyG4395, and do not forbidG2967 the speakingG2980 with tonguesG1100. 40But let all thingsG3956 be done comelily and with orderG5010.
