Genesis 27:41-46
41EsauH6215 held a grudgeH7852 against JacobH3290 because ofH5921 the blessingH1293 his fatherH1 had given himH1288. And EsauH6215 saidH559 in his heartH3820, “The daysH3117 of mourningH60 for my fatherH1 are at handH7126; then I will killH2026 my brotherH251 JacobH3290.”
42When the wordsH1697 of her olderH1419 sonH1121 EsauH6215 were relayedH5046 to RebekahH7259, she sent forH7971H7121 her youngerH6996 sonH1121 JacobH3290 and toldH559 himH413, “LookH2009, your brotherH251 EsauH6215 is consoling himselfH5162 by plotting to kill youH2026. 43So nowH6258, my sonH1121, obeyH8085 my voiceH6963 and fleeH1272 at onceH6965 toH413 my brotherH251 LabanH3837 in HaranH2771. 44StayH3427 with himH5973 for a whileH259H3117, untilH5704 your brother’sH251 furyH2534 subsidesH7725— 45untilH5704 your brother’sH251 rageH639 against youH4480 wanesH7725 and he forgetsH7911 whatH834 you have doneH6213 to him. Then I will send for youH7971 and bring you backH3947 from thereH8033. WhyH4100 should I loseH7921 bothH1571 of youH8147 in oneH259 dayH3117?”
46Then RebekahH7259 saidH559 toH413 IsaacH3327, “I am wearyH6973 of my lifeH2416 because ofH6440 these HittiteH2845 womenH1323.1 IfH518 JacobH3290 takesH3947 a HittiteH2845 wifeH802 fromH1323 among themH428H1323H776, what goodH4100 is my lifeH2416?”
