41So EsauH6215 1heldH7852 aH7852 grudgeH7852 againstH7852 JacobH3290 becauseH5921 of the blessingH1293 with whichH834 his fatherH1 had blessedH1288 him; and EsauH6215 saidH559 2to himselfH3820, “3The daysH3117 of mourningH60 for my fatherH1 are nearH7126; then I will killH2026 my brotherH251 JacobH3290.” 42Now when the wordsH1697 of her elderH1419 sonH1121 EsauH6215 were reportedH5046 to RebekahH7259, she sentH7971 word and calledH7121 her youngerH6996 sonH1121 JacobH3290, and saidH559 to him, “BeholdH2009 your brotherH251 EsauH6215 is consolingH5162 himself concerning you by planning to killH2026 you. 43NowH6258 then, my sonH1121, 4obeyH8085 my voiceH6963, and ariseH6965, 5fleeH1272 to 6HaranH2771, to my brotherH251 7LabanH3837! 44StayH3427 with him 8a fewH259 daysH3117, untilH5704H834 your brother’sH251 furyH2534 9subsidesH7725, 45untilH5704 your brother’sH251 angerH639 10againstH4480 you subsidesH7725 and he forgetsH7911 11whatH834 you didH6213 to him. Then I will sendH7971 word and getH3947 you from thereH8033. WhyH4100 should I loseH7921 you bothH8147 in oneH259 dayH3117?”
46And RebekahH7259 saidH559 to IsaacH3327, “I am tiredH6973 of 12livingH2425 becauseH4480H6440 of 13the daughtersH1323 of HethH2845; 14ifH518 JacobH3290 takesH3947 a wifeH802 from the daughtersH1323 of HethH2845 like theseH428 from the daughtersH1323 of the landH776, whatH4100 good will my lifeH2425 be to me?”
