Genesis 42:17-22
17And he put them all together into ward threeH7969 daysH3117.
18And JosephH3130 saidH559 unto them the thirdH7992 dayH3117, This do, and liveH2421; for I fearH3372 GodH430: 19if ye be true men, let oneH259 of your brethren be boundH631 in your prison-house; but goH935 ye, carry grainH7668 for the famine of your housesH1004: 20and bringH935 your youngestH6996 brotherH251 unto me; soH3651 shall your wordsH1697 be verified, and ye shall not dieH4191. And they did soH3651. 21And they saidH559 oneH376 to another, We are verily guiltyH818 concerning our brotherH251, in that we sawH7200 the distressH6869 of his soulH5315, whenH834 he besought us, and we would not hearH8085; thereforeH3651 is this distressH6869 comeH935 upon us. 22And ReubenH7205 answered them, sayingH559, Spake I not unto you, sayingH559, Do not sinH2398 against the childH3206; and ye would not hearH8085? therefore alsoH1571, behold, his bloodH1818 is requiredH1875.
