Genesis 38:24-29
24And it came to pass about threeH7969 monthsH2320 after, that it wasH1961 toldH5046 JudahH3063, sayingH559, TamarH8559 thy daughter-in-law hath playedH2181 the harlot; and moreover, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And JudahH3063 saidH559, BringH3318 her forthH3318, and let her beH1961 burnt. 25WhenH834 she was broughtH3318 forthH3318, she sentH7971 to her father-in-law, sayingH559, By the manH376, whose these are, am I with child: and she saidH559, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and the cordsH6616, and the staffH4294. 26And JudahH3063 acknowledged them, and saidH559, She is moreH4480 righteousH6663 than I, forasmuch as I gaveH5414 her not to ShelahH7956 my sonH1121. And he knewH3045 her againH5750 no moreH4480. 27And it came to pass in the timeH6256 of her travail, that, behold, twinsH8380 wereH1961 in her wombH990. 28And it came to pass, when she travailed, that oneH2088 putH5414 out a handH3027: and the midwife tookH3947 and boundH7194 upon his handH3027 a scarletH8144 thread, sayingH559, This came out firstH7223. 29And it came to pass, as he drew backH7725 his handH3027, that, behold, his brotherH251 came out: and she saidH559, Wherefore hast thou made a breachH6556 for thyself? therefore his nameH8034 was calledH7121 PerezH6557.
