1And when RachelH7354 sawH7200 that she bare JacobH3290 no children, RachelH7354 envied her sisterH269; and she saidH559 unto JacobH3290, GiveH3051 me children, or else I dieH4191. 2And Jacob’s angerH639 was kindled against RachelH7354: and he saidH559, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheldH4513 from thee the fruitH6529 of the wombH990? 3And she saidH559, Behold, my maid BilhahH1090, goH935 in unto her; that she may bearH3205 upon my knees, and I alsoH1571 may obtain childrenH3205 by her. 4And she gaveH5414 him BilhahH1090 her handmaid to wifeH802: and JacobH3290 wentH935 in unto her. 5And BilhahH1090 conceivedH2029, and bare JacobH3290 a sonH1121. 6And RachelH7354 saidH559, GodH430 hath judged me, and hath alsoH1571 heardH8085 my voiceH6963, and hath givenH5414 me a sonH1121: thereforeH3651 calledH7121 she his nameH8034 DanH1835. 7And BilhahH1090 Rachel’s handmaid conceivedH2029 againH5750, and bare JacobH3290 a secondH8145 sonH1121. 8And RachelH7354 saidH559, With mighty wrestlings have I wrestled with my sisterH269, and have prevailedH3201: and she calledH7121 his nameH8034 NaphtaliH5321.
