Ezekiel 47
Revised Version 1895
1And he broughtH3318 meH413 backH7725 unto the doorH6607 of the houseH1004; and beholdH2009, watersH4325 issuedH3318 outH3318 from underH8478 the thresholdH4670 of the houseH1004 eastward, for the forefront of the houseH1004 was towardH413 the eastH6921: and the watersH4325 cameH3318 downH3381 from underH8478, from the rightH3233 sideH3802 of the houseH1004, on the southH5045 of the altarH4196. 2Then broughtH3318 he meH413 outH3318 by the wayH1870 of the gateH8179 northwardH6828, and ledH3318 meH413 roundH5437 by the wayH1870 withoutH4480 unto the outerH2351 gateH8179, by the wayH1870 of the gateH8179 that looketh towardH413 the eastH6921; and beholdH2009, there ran outH3318 watersH4325 on the rightH3233 sideH3802. 3When the manH376 wentH3318 forthH3318 eastward with the line in his handH3027, he measuredH4058 a thousandH505 cubitsH520, and he caused meH3318 to passH5674 throughH3027 the watersH4325, watersH4325 that were to the ankles. 4Again he measuredH4058 a thousandH505, and caused me to passH5674 throughH5674 the watersH4325, watersH4325 that were to the kneesH1290. Again he measuredH4058 a thousandH505, and caused me to passH5674 throughH5674 the watersH4325, watersH4325 that were to the loinsH4975. 5Afterward he measuredH4058 a thousandH505; and it was a riverH5158 that I couldH3201 notH3808 passH5674 throughH5674: for the watersH4325 were risenH1342, watersH4325 to swimH7813 in, a riverH5158 that couldH3201 notH3808 be passedH5674 throughH5674. 6And he saidH559 unto meH413, SonH1121 of manH120, hast thou seenH7200 this? Then he broughtH7725 meH413, and caused meH413 to returnH7725 to the bankH8193 of the riverH5158. 7NowH2009 when I had returnedH7725, beholdH2009, uponH413 the bankH8193 of the riverH5158 were veryH3966 manyH7227 treesH6086 on the one sideH2088 and on the otherH2088. 8Then saidH559 he unto meH413, TheseH428 watersH4325 issueH3318 forthH3318 towardH413 the easternH6930 regionH1552, and shall goH3318 downH3381 intoH413 the ArabahH6160: and they shall goH3318 towardH413 the seaH3220; intoH413 the seaH3220 shall the watersH4325 goH3318 whichH4325 were made to issueH3318 forthH3318; and the watersH4325 shall be healedH7495. 9And it shall comeH935 to passH935, that everyH3605 livingH2416 creatureH5315 whichH834 swarmeth, in everyH3605 placeH1961 whither the rivers comeH935, shall liveH2421; and there shall be a veryH3966 greatH3966 multitude of fishH1710: for theseH428 watersH4325 are comeH935 thither, and the watersH4325 of the sea shall be healedH7495, and everyH3605 thingH3588 shall liveH2421 whithersoever the riverH5158 cometh. 10And it shall comeH1961 to passH1961, that fishers shall standH5975 by it: from En-gedi evenH5704 unto En-eglaimH5882 shall be a placeH1961 for the spreading of netsH2764; their fishH1710 shall be afterH5921 their kindsH4327, as the fishH1710 of the greatH1419 seaH3220, exceedingH3966 manyH7227. 11But the miry places thereof, and the marishes thereof, shall notH3808 be healedH7495; they shall be givenH5414 upH5414 to saltH4417. 12And by the riverH5158 uponH5921 the bankH8193 thereof, on this sideH2088 and on that sideH2088, shall growH5927 everyH3605 treeH6086 for meat, whoseH3605 leafH5929 shall notH3808 witherH5034, neitherH3808 shall the fruitH6529 thereof failH8552: it shall bringH3318 forthH3318 newH2320 fruitH6529 everyH3605 monthH2320, becauseH3588 the watersH4325 thereof issueH3318 outH3318 of the sanctuaryH4720: and the fruitH6529 thereof shall be for meat, and the leafH5929 thereof for healingH8644. 13ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136: This shall be the borderH1366, wherebyH834 ye shall divideH5157 the landH776 for inheritanceH5157 according to the twelveH6240 tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478: JosephH3130 shall have portionsH2256. 14And ye shall inheritH5157 it, one as wellH834 as anotherH251; concerning the whichH834 I liftedH5375 upH5375 mine handH3027 to giveH5414 it unto your fathersH1: and this landH776 shall fallH5307 unto youH834 for inheritanceH5159. 15And this shall be the borderH1366 of the landH776: on the northH6828 sideH6285, from the greatH1419 seaH3220, by the wayH1870 of HethlonH2855, unto the enteringH935 in of ZedadH6657; 16HamathH2574, BerothahH1268, SibraimH5453, whichH834 is betweenH996 the borderH1366 of DamascusH1834 and the borderH1366 of HamathH2574; Hazer-hatticonH2694, whichH834 is by the borderH1366 of HauranH2362. 17And the borderH1366 from the seaH3220 shall be Hazar-enon at the borderH1366 of DamascusH1834, and on the northH6828 northwardH6828 is the borderH1366 of HamathH2574. This is the northH6828 sideH6285. 18And the eastH6921 sideH6285, betweenH996 HauranH2362 and DamascusH1834 and GileadH1568, and the landH776 of IsraelH3478, shall be JordanH3383; from the north borderH1366 unto the eastH6921 seaH3220 shall ye measureH4058. This is the eastH6921 sideH6285. 19And the southH5045 sideH6285 southwardH5045 shall be from TamarH8559 as farH5704 as the watersH4325 of Meriboth-kadesh, to the brookH5158 of Egypt, unto the greatH1419 seaH3220. This is the southH5045 sideH6285 southwardH5045. 20And the westH3220 sideH6285 shall be the greatH1419 seaH3220, from the southH3220 borderH1366 as farH5704 as over againstH935 the enteringH935 in of HamathH2574. This is the westH3220 sideH6285. 21SoH853 shall ye divideH2505 this landH776 unto youH853 according to the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478. 22And it shall comeH1961 to passH1961, that ye shall divideH5307 it by lotH5307 for an inheritanceH5159 unto youH834 and to the strangersH1616 that sojourn among youH834, whichH834 shall begetH3205 childrenH1121 among youH834; and they shall be unto youH834 as the homeborn among the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478; they shall have inheritanceH5159 with youH834 among the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478. 23And it shall comeH1961 to passH1961, that in whatH834 tribeH7626 the strangerH1616 sojourneth; there shall ye giveH5414 him his inheritanceH5159, saith the LordH136 GODH136.
