Deuteronomy 25:1-4
1If there beH1961 a controversy between menH376, and they come unto judgmentH4941, and the judgesH8199 judgeH8199 them; then they shall justifyH6663 the righteousH6662, and condemnH7561 the wickedH7563. 2And it shall beH1961, if the wickedH7563 man beH1961 worthy to beH1961 beaten, that the judgeH8199 shall cause him to lie down, and to beH1961 beaten before his faceH6440, according to his wickednessH7564, by numberH4557. 3FortyH705 stripes he may give him, he shall not exceed; lestH6435, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with manyH7227 stripes, then thy brotherH251 should seem vile unto thee.
4Thou shalt not muzzle the oxH7794 when he treadeth out the grain.
