9For thisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478saysאָמַ֜ר'a.MarH559: “BeholdH2009, I am going toeliminateמַשְׁבִּ֜יתmash.BitH7673from thisהַזֶּ֛הha.ZehH2088placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,before your eyesלְעֵינֵיכֶ֖םle.'ei.nei.KhemH5869and in your timeוּבִֽימֵיכֶ֑םu.vi.mei.KhemH3117,the voiceק֤וֹלKolH6963of rejoicingשָׂשׂוֹן֙sa.sOnH8342and the voiceוְק֣וֹלve.KolH6963of joyשִׂמְחָ֔הsim.ChahH8057,the voiceק֥וֹלKolH6963of the groomחָתָ֖ןcha.TanH2860and the voiceוְק֥וֹלve.KolH6963of the brideכַּלָּֽה׃ka.LahH3618.
10“Now it will happenוְהָיָ֗הve.ha.YahH1961that, whenכִּ֤יkiH3588you tellתַגִּיד֙ta.GidH5046thisH2088peopleלָעָ֣םla.'AmH5971allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697,they will sayוְאָמְר֣וּve.'a.me.RuH559to you, ‘ForH5921whatH4100reasonH5921H4100has the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068declaredדִבֶּ֨רdi.BerH1696allכָּל־kol-H3605thisH2088greatהַגְּדוֹלָה֙ha.ge.do.LahH1419disasterH7463againstH5921us? And whatH4100is our wrongdoingעֲוֹנֵ֙נוּ֙'a.vo.Ne.nuH5771,or whatH4100is our sinחַטָּאתֵ֔נוּcha.ta.Te.nuH2403that we have committedחָטָ֖אנוּcha.Ta.nuH2398against the Lordלַֽיהוָ֥הla.Yah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃'e.lo.Hei.nuH430?’
11Then you are to sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘It isbecauseעַל֩ אֲשֶׁר־'al 'a.Sher-H5921H834your forefathersאֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֤ם'a.vo.tei.KhemH1have abandonedעָזְב֨וּ'a.ze.VuH5800Me,’ declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, ‘and have followedוַיֵּלְכ֗וּ אַֽחֲרֵי֙vai.ye.le.Khu 'a.cha.ReiH1980H310otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430,and servedוַיַּעַבְד֖וּםvai.ya.'av.DumH5647and worshipedH2331them; but they have abandonedעָזָ֔בוּ'a.Za.vuH5800Me and have not keptשָׁמָֽרוּ׃sha.Ma.ruH8104My Lawתּוֹרָתִ֖יto.ra.TiH8451.
12You too have doneלַעֲשׂ֖וֹתla.'a.SotH6213evilH7451, evenmoreH4480thanH4480your forefathersמֵאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑םme.'a.vo.tei.KhemH1;for beholdH2009,eachH376oneH376of you is followingהֹלְכִ֗ים אַֽחֲרֵי֙ho.le.Khim 'a.cha.ReiH1980H310thestubbornnessשְׁרִר֣וּתshe.ri.RutH8307of his ownevilH7451heartלִבּֽוֹ־li.bov-H3820,withoutלְבִלְתִּ֖יle.vil.TiH1115listeningשְׁמֹ֥עַshe.Mo.a'H8085to Me.
13So I willhurlוְהֵטַלְתִּ֣יve.he.tal.TiH2904you offH4480H5921thisH2088landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776to thelandהָאָ֕רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834you have not knownיְדַעְתֶּ֔םye.da'.TemH3045, neitheryou norלֹ֣אlo'H3808your fathersוַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑םva.'a.vo.tei.KhemH1;and thereשָׁ֞םshamH8033you willserveוַעֲבַדְתֶּם־va.'a.vad.tem-H5647otherאֲחֵרִים֙'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֤ים'E.lo.HimH430dayיוֹמָ֣םyo.MamH3119and nightוָלַ֔יְלָהva.Lay.lahH3915,becauseאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834I will showאֶתֵּ֥ן'e.TenH5414you noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808compassionחֲנִינָֽה׃ סcha.ni.NahH2594.’
